According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a water detector of a double structure with a freeze protection function is disclosed. The water detector includes: an external body including a container-shaped structure which has an empty space formed therein, and includes a side surface portion, an upper portion, and a lower portion; and an internal body which is inserted into an inside of the external body and coupled thereto, the internal body including a container-shaped structure which has an empty space formed therein, and includes a side surface portion, an upper portion, and a lower portion.
Systems for in situ monitoring of working fluids and working fluid systems
A working fluid monitoring system for monitoring a working fluid of working fluid system of a piece of equipment is provided. The working fluid monitoring system can include a filter member having an inlet, an outlet, and a filter media disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The filter member can be configured to permit fluid communication of the working fluid of the working fluid system from the inlet, through the filter media, and out the outlet of the filter member. A sensor is in operable communication with the working fluid within the filter member and is configured to monitor in situ a parameter of the working fluid and/or the working fluid system.
Method and apparatus for determining lubricant contamination or deterioration in an engine
An apparatus and method for determining lubrication contamination or deterioration in an engine or a lubricant system of an engine can include at least one sensor provided in the lubricant system. The sensor can sense an aroma of a lubricant or the air around the lubricant to measure a chemical composition or an aromatic. The sensed chemical composition or aromatic can be compared to a baseline or threshold to determine a particular contamination type or deterioration level of the lubricant.
Equipment monitoring system
An equipment monitoring system preferably includes an electronic control device, a controller area network bus wiring harness (CAN BUS) and a plurality of sensors. The electronic control device preferably includes a software program for receiving input from the plurality of sensors. The CAN BUS wiring harness provides an interface between the electronic control device and the plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors include at least one oil temperature sensor, at least one fluid pressure sensor, at least one vibration sensor, at least one speed sensor, a moisture sensor vacuum sensor and an exhaust air temperature sensor. The software program monitors the plurality of sensors. If the operating limit of one of the plurality of sensors is exceeded, the electronic control device sets off some type of alarm. The electronic control device preferably wirelessly transmits the data received from the sensor to a remote device.
Fluid quality monitoring and filtration system
