A Continuous Type Process Method to Increase the Rate of Reaction Between Solids, Liquids, And Gasses Per Area of the Land Occupied by Two Reactors
Two inline tower gas wet scrubbers having a moving bed of solids for scrubbing exhaust gas
Two inline tower gas wet scrubbers wherein each scrubber has a moving bed of solids 0010 that is conveyed from the top to the bottom of the towers via a plurality of perforated moving floors 003 arranged one above the other. Wherein the moving floors are mounted on plenums 004 that extend from the internal walls of the towers. A liquid 008 is sprayed from the top of each tower, wherein the liquid washes the exhaust gas, capturing particle matter and absorbing acidic gases and heat. As the liquid falls under gravity, the liquid is filtered through the solids. Exhaust gas e.g. containing CO.sub.2 enters the first scrubber 001 above the bottom plenum and travels upwards over the moving bed towards the outlet at the top of the scrubber, whilst being washed by the falling liquid. The warm carbonated solids and liquid that exit the first reactor are fed into the top of the second reactor 002, whilst the gas exiting the first reactor enters the second reactor via the plenums/ducts that support the moving floors thereby distributing the gas throughout the reactor.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF AIRCRAFT ENGINE

The system comprises at least one ultrasound sensor positioned to detect sound emanating from at least one lubrication point of the machine, and at least one auto-lubrication device configured to provide lubrication to the at least one lubrication point. The at least one auto-lubrication device is controlled to provide lubrication to the at least one lubrication point based at least in part on sound detection data from the at least one ultrasound sensor.
Combined power system
In a rotary electric machine housing, a first bearing and a second bearing are provided for supporting a rotating shaft. A lubricating oil is supplied to the first bearing and the second bearing. Further, a gas is supplied to the first bearing and the second bearing. The lubricating oil and the gas are recovered by a single recovery device.
INTEGRATED LUBRICATION SYSTEM
An integrated lubrication system and an engine that includes the integrated lubrication system. The system has a first and a second lubrication supply line and one or more spray bars. The first lubrication supply line extends radially inward toward a central axis of the engine, has a first plurality of jet outlets, and is configured to deliver a lubrication fluid to a first location on one or more engine components. The second lubrication supply line extends parallel to the central axis, has a second plurality of jet outlets, and is configured to deliver the lubrication fluid to a second location on the one or more engine components. The first lubrication supply line is configured to lubricate the one or more engine components in a first engine power condition and the second lubrication supply line is configured to lubricate the one or more engine components in a second engine power condition.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine including a compressor that compresses air taken in; a combustor that sprays a fuel into the compressed air and combusts the fuel; a turbine rotated by energy of the combustion gas generated by the combustor; a rotating shaft coupling the compressor and the turbine; a rear bearing that is a cageless ball bearing including an inner race, an outer race, and a ball, the inner race being fixed to a portion of the rotating shaft which portion is close to the turbine; a housing to which the rear bearing is attached; and a rear bearing holding member that is interposed between the rear bearing and the housing and holds the outer race of the rear bearing such that the outer race of the rear bearing is movable in an axial direction relative to the housing.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine includes: a fan that is arranged in front of a compressor and rotates in association with a rotating shaft; a casing including an inner shell accommodating the compressor, a combustor, and a turbine, and an outer shell arranged such that a bypass passage through which part of air supplied by the fan flows exists between the inner shell and the outer shell; bearings arranged inside the inner shell; an oil mist generator that is arranged outside the outer shell and generates oil mist by mixing oil with compressed air extracted through an extraction port of the compressor; an air pipe through which the compressed air extracted from the compressor is guided to the oil mist generator; and an oil mist pipe through which the oil mist generated by the oil mist generator is guided to the bearings. At least one of the air pipe and the oil mist pipe includes a heat exchanger that is arranged in the bypass passage and is cooled by the air flowing through the bypass passage.
A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LUBRICATING ONE OR MORE ROTARY BEARINGS
According to the method of the invention, a lubricant is supplied incrementally to a rotary bearing while the bearing is in operation rotating at a rotational speed. The lubricant is supplied in consecutive steps so that at each step a portion of a prescribed amount of lubricant is supplied, followed each time by an ultrasound measurement. A first ultrasound measurement is performed before the first supply step, and starting from the second supply step, each measurement result is compared at least to the previous result, in order to evaluate the bearing condition and decide on that basis whether to continue the sequence or not. Stopping the sequence is decided when the lubrication of the bearing is assessed as successful, a lubrication failure or over-lubrication. The invention is equally related to a system for lubricating one or more bearings, applying the method of the invention to each of said bearings.
