Various embodiments herein relate to machinery for forming smoking articles of cannabis compositions. In at least one embodiment, there is provided a system for alcohol-based lubrication for pre-roll machinery comprising: a reservoir tank for retaining lubricant fluid; a tube conduit having a first end fluidically coupled to the reservoir tank and an open second end; and a modified pre-roll member having a fluid-receiving opening coupled to the second tube end, the modified pre-roll member further comprising a bottom contact surface including one or more fluid exit openings coupled to the fluid-receiving opening.

A transport system for containers in the beverage industry, with a first container conveyor including a conveyor belt for conveying the containers, and a lubrication system including an applicator for applying a lubricant to the conveyor belt of the first container conveyor, wherein the transport system comprises a second container conveyor with a further conveyor belt for conveying the containers, and the lubrication system includes a mobile robot which has the applicator arranged thereon and a floor-supported undercarriage, for applying the lubricant in an automated selectively to the conveyor belt of the first container transporter or the conveyor belt of the second container conveyor.

A conveyor lubricating system includes a lubricant feed line, a lubricant applicator including a lubricant flow regulator and a lubricant brush, and a cantilevered support arm including a first rigid member and a second rigid member connected together by a pivoting joint. The lubricant flow regulator is fluidly connected to the lubricant feed line and the lubricant brush is fluidly connected to the lubricant flow regulator. The lubricant brush includes bristles and a manifold to distribute the conveyor lubricant across a width of the lubricant brush. The first rigid member is secured to the lubricant applicator at an end opposite the pivoting joint and the second rigid member is secured to a stationary support such that the second rigid member is cantilevered over a conveyor and such that the lubricant brush contacts the conveyor. An associated method of applying conveyor lubricant to a conveyor is also provided.

A liquid dispensing system for dispensing highly viscous liquids such as lubricating oil. The system includes a nozzle body and elongated electrode that define an annular liquid flow passage communicating with a protruding conically configured terminal end of the electrode. An end cap of the nozzle body defines a plurality of circumferentially spaced discharge orifices about the electrode for controlling the discharge of electrically charged liquid onto the terminal end of the electrode for direction therefrom in a thin line, having a width of less than 0.06 inches.
