SPIRAL CONVEYOR DRIVE CONTROL AND LUBRICATION

The bottom tier (24) of a conveyor belt (22) arranged in a spiral stack (26) is supported by and driven by inner and outer drive chains (28) and (30). The inner and outer drive chains are supported on and ride along support rails (32) and (34). The inner and outer drive chains are driven by a drive system (35) composed of inner and outer drive systems (36) and (38), each including a drive motor with a drive gear engaged with the inner and outer drive chains. Each of the motors is controlled by a separate variable frequency drive unit (114) and (116) which in turn are controlled by a control system (44). The control system (44) also controls the operation of a lubrication system (40) that supplies lubricant to the drive chains.

BICYCLE LUBRICANT
20210102139 · 2021-04-08 ·

A bicycle chain lubricant that may be applied as a coating on a bicycle chain is a crystalline solid at ambient temperatures, yet when the chain is in motion the forces around internal components locally transforms the coating to a lubricous fluid. This increases chain efficiency in the drive train and reduces ware by limiting water and dirt access to chain internal components.

Device for applying oil to a chain of a two-wheeler, in particular a bicycle

A device for applying oil on a chain of a two-wheeler, such as a bicycle (10), comprises: a container for the oil to be applied; an outlet through which the oil may exit from the container; and an applicator configured to repeatedly open and close the outlet during a movement of the device relative to the chain in the longitudinal direction of the chain so that the oil located in the container is applied incrementally to the chain.

LIQUID APPLICATOR
20240003488 · 2024-01-04 · ·

This invention relates to a liquid applicator 10 that comprises a resilient deformable container 12 for holding a liquid 14 and an applicator head 16 for abutting an elongated article. The applicator head 16 defines a first connecting formation 20 that is connectable to a first connecting portion 22 on the container 12 in order to connect the container 12 and applicator head 16 to each other. The applicator head 16 further defines an inlet 24 which is in fluid flow communication with and receives liquid 14 from the container 12 when the container 12 is connected to the applicator head 16.

NARROW POINT ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY NOZZLE ASSEMBLY AND LUBRICANT DISPENSING SYSTEM
20240042466 · 2024-02-08 ·

A liquid dispensing system for dispensing highly viscous liquids such as lubricating oil. The system includes a nozzle body and elongated electrode that define an annular liquid flow passage communicating with a protruding conically configured terminal end of the electrode. An end cap of the nozzle body defines a plurality of circumferentially spaced discharge orifices about the electrode for controlling the discharge of electrically charged liquid onto the terminal end of the electrode for direction therefrom in a thin line, having a width of less than 0.06 inches.

SEAL CHAIN

The seal chain comprises two inner link plates, a bushing, a pin inserted into the bushing, a roller into which the bushing is inserted, two outer link plates, a recess, and a seal. Opposite ends of the bushing are respectively joined to the two inner link plates. The roller is supported by the bushing. The two outer link plates are arranged to externally hold the two inner link plates. Opposite ends of the pin are respectively joined to the two outer link plates. The recess is formed in an inner surface of each of the inner link plates to surround the bushing. The seal is arranged between a bottom surface of the recess and an end surface of the roller so as to be accommodated in the recess, and seals lubricant provided between the bushing and the roller.

ENGINE

An engine is described having a crankcase, a liner and a head assembly. The crankcase is split along a plane defining a two part crankcase, where fluid passages are passing through only one of the crankcase portions, so as to not require crossing the split line. A connecting rod also includes a tapered end, and the piston has a complementary carrier receiving the connecting rod.
