Lubricant application tool for line hose
A hose lubricating tool for power line hoses. A backboard has a support plate mounted on the front surface. The backboard has a lip portion below the support plate integral with the bottom half. A hinge is mounted to the front surface and attached thereto is a finger base, the finger base mounted to the hinge on the front surface. An indentation is defined within the finger base underneath the front edge. A finger portion is mounted to the finger base, the finger portion extending out over a finger front edge of the finger base to define a finger tip, the finger tip and finger portion sized to be received within a groove of a power line hose. Upon the power line hose being forced along the finger tip, the finger base is urged downward to engage the trigger and release the lubricant.
LUBRICATED CABLE WITH REDUCED COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION
The present arrangement provides for an electric cable having at least one insulated conductor and a jacket surrounding the at least one insulated conductor. The polymer composition of the jacket includes at least a base polymer, a first lubricant and a second lubricant. The first lubricant is paraffin oil lubricant included in the polymer composition of the jacket in the range of 0.8%-2% by weight and the second lubricant is a siloxane lubricant included in the polymer composition of the jacket in the range of 0.25%-1.0% by weight.
DRAW WIRE APPARATUS
A draw wire apparatus, including: a rod and a motor for rotating the rod; a thread extending from the rod, for being attached to a draw wire, and shaped for advancing thereof upon the rotation of the rod; and an oil pump characterized in being operated by the rotation of the rod, and disposed adjacent to the draw wire, thereby drawing oil onto, thereby the motor lubricates the draw wire and as well advances thereof.
Lubricating tool for boat steering cable
Various examples of a tool for lubricating a boat steering cable are described, along with examples of using the tool. In one example, a tool for lubricating a boat steering cable includes a lubricator barrel and a threaded lubricator pin. The lubricator barrel includes an outer cylindrical surface, a first end surface, and a second end surface. The lubricator barrel also includes a central barrel cavity extending from the first end surface, along a longitudinal centerline of the lubricator barrel, and a pin cavity extending from the outer cylindrical surface to the central barrel cavity. In some cases, the lubricator barrel also includes a first o-ring seat, a second o-ring seat, or both. The first o-ring seat is positioned at one end of the central barrel cavity and the second o-ring seat is positioned at the outer cylindrical surface of the pin cavity.
A Lubricating Shuttle
An apparatus for lubricating a surface of a tubular element for a medicament delivery device includes a rotatable drum comprising a tubular element receiving section configured to receive a tubular element to be lubricated. The drum is rotatable about its central axis. The apparatus comprises a device manipulator comprising a device handler at one end of a rod. The device handler is configured to receive a shaft portion of a device, and the rod moves a device through a received tubular element. The device manipulator is rotatable about the central axis of the rotatable drum.
Apparatus for surface treatment of an elongate object
An apparatus (1) for surface treatment of an elongate object (50), such as a wire rope, while the apparatus (1) travels along the object (50), including a squeegee unit (10) for applying a deformable material, such as a coating material, comprising: a first and a second opening (16, 17) which are mutually aligned and through which said elongated object (50) is able to pass in a longitudinal direction (12), wherein a squeegee element (102) is provided between the first and the second opening (16, 17) defining an opening (15) which is adapted to the cross sectional shape of the elongated object (50) to distribute a coating layer by wiping along the surface of the elongated object (50) passing through said opening (15).
Conduit lubricating device
The following disclosure relates to a conduit lubricating device. The conduit lubricating device includes a lubricant reservoir, a hose with a stiffness great enough to enable manual insertion into a populated conduit, yet not so great as to prohibit traversal of the conduit's contours, and a pump fluidly coupled to the lubricant reservoir and the hose.
