DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM FOR A LUBRICATION CIRCUIT
A diagnostic system for a lubrication circuit of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle. The system includes a viscometer for detecting the viscosity of a lubricating liquid of the lubrication circuit, a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the lubricating liquid, and a control unit to acquire the state of the lubricating liquid, given by the viscosity detected for a given lubricating liquid condition, which includes the lubricating liquid temperature and the date of last replacement of the lubricating liquid, and for a given condition of use of the engine, and to assess the state of the lubricating liquid by comparing the detected viscosity of the lubricating liquid with the viscosity reference values stored in the database in the same or similar condition of lubricating liquid temperature, date of last replacement of the lubricating liquid and use of the engine.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING LUBRICATION OF A GEAR ASSEMBLY
Systems and methods of monitoring lubrication of a gear assembly during operation of a machine provide for receiving at a control system, a signal from a sensor indicative of a value obtained by the sensor for an electrical property of a circuit crossing the gear assembly operably coupled to the machine, ascertaining whether the value for the electrical property corresponds to a warning level for a condition of the lubricant film, and outputting a control command when the value for the electrical property corresponds to the warning level for the condition of the lubricant film.
Fluid quality monitoring and filtration system
A fluid filtration system may include a fluid filter assembly that includes a filter element configured to filter a fluid and a sensor probe incorporated into the fluid filter assembly. The sensor probe may include a chemically reactive material sensitive to at least one property of the fluid and at least a portion of the sensor probe may be exposed to the fluid.
Apparatus for identifying fluid of a removable fluid container and method of use
An apparatus comprising: an identity determiner configured to determine an identity of a removable fluid container; a characteristic determiner configured to obtain a first characteristic based on testing the fluid of the fluid container; a data obtainer configured to obtain a second characteristic based on the identity; and a processor configured to control a fluid provider to provide fluid from the removable fluid container based on the comparison of the first characteristic and the second characteristic.
Fluid Monitoring and Management Devices
A fluid monitoring and management device that includes a housing with a fluid passageway. The fluid monitoring and management device further includes a fluid property sensor with a sensing element in the fluid passageway. A valve is in the fluid passageway of the fluid monitoring and management device. A removable bottle mount is aligned with the valve to be selectively in fluid communication with the fluid passageway.
OIL CIRCULATION SYSTEM
An oil circulation system is configured to supply lubrication oil to a plunger pump. The oil circulation system includes an oil tank, and the oil tank is provided with an electric heater. The oil circulation system further includes: a main circulation circuit. Two ends of the main circulation circuit are configured to respectively communicate with an oil outlet and an oil inlet of the oil tank, and the main circulation circuit is provided with a power member; and an overflow valve, disposed on the main circulation circuit and located on an oil outflow side of the power member.

Method and apparatus
In some embodiments, there is provided a method of controlling a pressure gradient between a combustion chamber and a crankcase of an engine, the method having: receiving, at a control device, a signal indicating that a lubricant container is coupled to a lubricant circulation system associated with the engine, in response to the received signal, providing data to cause operation of a suction control device for facilitating control of the pressure gradient.
