Valve Control and/or Lubrication System

A system for operating and/or lubricating a plurality of valves. The system includes at least first and second control units, each of which is associated with a respective valve. Each control unit includes a hydraulic pressure inlet, a hydraulic pressure outlet, a hydraulic pressure line connected between the hydraulic pressure inlet and the hydraulic pressure outlet, and a hydraulic port which is connectable to the valve. The hydraulic pressure inlet of the first control unit is connectable to a hydraulic pressure source and the hydraulic pressure outlet of the first control unit is connectable to the hydraulic pressure inlet of the second control unit. In operation, the control unit is operable to selectively communicate hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure line to the hydraulic port.

A system for operating and/or lubricating a plurality of valves mounted on a number of christmas trees, each valve including a hydraulic actuator operated by hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pressure source and a lubricant inlet connected to an interior portion of the valve. The system includes a plurality of control units, each of which is associated with a respective valve and each of which has at least one of a hydraulic pressure line which is connectable to the hydraulic pressure source and a lubricant line which is connectable to the lubricant source. Each control unit is operable to selectively connect the hydraulic pressure source to the hydraulic actuator to thereby operate the valve and/or to selectively connect the lubricant source to the lubricant inlet to thereby communicate lubricant into the interior portion of the valve.

The lubricant container includes a rotatable shaft with a piston to dispense the lubricant from an output of the lubricant container. An electric motor is configured to drive the rotatable shaft of the lubricant container during at least one lubrication action, such that at least a part of the lubricant is dispensable from the lubricant container during the at least one lubrication action. At least one sensor is arranged within the housing and configured to provide a sensor signal indicative of a distance between the at least one sensor and the piston of the lubricant container, and a control circuitry configured to determine, based on the sensor signal, at least one lubrication parameter indicative of the at least one lubrication action.

A vehicle cooling system comprises an oil circulation circuit in which a cooling oil is circulated by an electric oil pump to cool a predetermined cooling target with the cooling oil; an oil temperature sensor detecting an oil temperature that is a temperature of the cooling oil; and a control device including a cooling control portion outputting a rotation command for operating the electric oil pump so as to cool the cooling target. The control device includes a pump abnormality determination portion outputting the rotation command to the electric oil pump to determine a presence/absence of abnormality based on a rotation state of the electric oil pump when an operation stop time of the vehicle is longer than a predefined determination permission time and an oil temperature detection value detected by the oil temperature sensor is higher than a predefined determination permission temperature.
