BALL RETURN SYSTEM AND RELATED FEATURES

A ball lift assembly includes: a housing having an entrance and an exit; a motor which drives a ball lift system; an electronic control unit (ECU); and a plurality of sensors providing signals to the electronic control unit, including: a first sensor which detects a ball entering the lift system through the entrance; and a second sensor which detects the ball exiting the lift system through the exit. The first sensor provides a first signal to the ECU when the first sensor detects the ball entering the lift system through the entrance. The second sensor provides a second signal to the ECU when the second sensor detects the ball exiting the lift system through the exit. The ECU will turn on the motor to drive the ball lift system upon receiving the first signal, and turn off the motor of the ball lift system soon after receiving the second signal, while making sure the ball actually exits the unit.

TELESCOPIC COVER FOR A MACHINE TOOL
20220048150 · 2022-02-17 ·

A telescopic cover comprising several telescopic members for a machine tool. The telescopic members can move back and forth with respect to each other and are arranged so that they can be guided with respect to the direction of movement in an overplapping manner, can extend in two directions of movement and in guide rails that are arranged in parallel and at a distance from each other. In order to provide a telescopic cover that is constructive and easy to produce and light to move, the telescopic members respectively comprise a section with which they bridge over guide rails arranged at a distance therefrom forming a continuous arc-shaped cross-section in a first cross-section perpendicular to the direction of movement.

DEPALLETIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Warehouse automation and methods of handling materials can be used to enhance the safety and efficiencies of warehouse operations. For example, automation systems and methods that make depalletization processes safer and more efficient are described. In some examples, the depalletization systems described herein include multiple work cells/stations and a depalletization robot that traverses the work cells/stations on a rail so the robot can autonomously move between the stations.

WORK SURFACE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT STOP APPARATUS AND METHOD OF UTILIZING SAME

An apparatus configured to provide a stop for a height adjustable work surface can be configured to provide a stop to help stop a work surface from moving lower than a pre-selected height position. Embodiments of the apparatus can be configured to protect items below the work surface from being contacted by the work surface. This can help avoid dislodging electrical plugs or damage being accidentally caused to plugs or other devices that may be positioned below the work surface and within the range of motion of the vertically adjustable work surface.

COOKING SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A COOKING SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM

The present technology relates to a cooking system, a method for controlling a cooking system, and a program that enable a user to enjoy the pleasure and happiness of cooking by safely providing novel cooking experiences. A state of a cooking space is detected, a dangerous area for a user in the cooking space is detected on the basis of a cooking process and the state of the cooking space, and the detected dangerous area is indicated in the cooking space. The invention pertains to a portable fencing system that provides for easy and versatile positioning and removal. In one aspect, the portable fencing system includes sleeves that are pre-positioned in the ground so as to define a predetermined boundary suitable for a particular repetitive use. In another aspect, a portable fencing system that is without pre-positioned sleeves is described, which is more suitable for applications where the insertion of semi-permanent sleeves is impracticable, or where added positioning flexibility is desired.
