Thermostatic steam trap
A thermostatic steam trap includes a lower casing; an upper casing secured with the lower casing; and a mechanism that is operatively secured with the lower casing and the upper casing and that includes a stack of bimetallic strips. The stack of bimetallic strips includes two opposed cantilevered portions separated by a neutral flexion axis thereof. A stem member slidably extends through the stack of bimetallic strips and the lower casing, and a valve portion includes a valve member that is operatively secured to a first end of the stem member and that selectively closes the valve portion with movement of the cantilevered portions of the stack of bimetallic strips.
STEAM TRAP AND VALVE ASSEMBLY STATION
A manifold for a steam system is provided with a body forming a first chamber extending between an inlet and an outlet along a first axis and a second chamber extending from a face of the body along a second axis to intersect the first chamber. A first piston valve sub-assembly is disposed in the second chamber to enable and disable steam communication between the second chamber and a first port. A second piston valve sub-assembly is disposed in the second chamber to enable and disable steam communication between the second chamber and a second port. A handle is mounted for rotation relative to the face. A valve stem is connected to the handle and mounted for translation within the second chamber in response to rotation of the handle between four positions to individually activate and deactivate the first piston valve sub-assembly and the second piston valve sub-assembly.

Condensate drain apparatus
A condensate drain apparatus including a valve for controlling discharge of condensate from the condensate drain apparatus; a collection chamber configured to receive a multiphase fluid flow upstream of the valve including gaseous and condensate phases, the collection chamber defining a collection volume for collecting the condensate to be discharged through the valve; sensor equipment for monitoring a parameter relating to a thermodynamic property of the fluid upstream of the valve; a controller configured to monitor the condensate collected in the collection chamber based on the monitored parameter, and to control the opening and closing of the valve to regulate the condensate collected in the collection chamber upstream of the valve; wherein the controller is further configured to determine the quantity of condensate discharged from the collection volume using a flow rate calculation for a choked flow of vaporizing liquid.

Steam trap monitoring system, pipe collection device, and steam trap unit
A steam trap monitoring system includes: a steam trap; an opening/closing valve for opening/closing a channel to the steam trap, the opening/closing valve being located on upstream side of the steam trap; a sensor for detecting one or more physical quantities; and an analysis unit for analyzing detection information from the sensor. In this steam trap monitoring system, the analysis unit is configured to analyze both a functional state of the steam trap and a functional state of the opening/closing valve, based on detection information from the single sensor.
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING LARGE AMOUNTS OF CONDENSATE FROM AN UNDERGROUND VAULT STEAM SYSTEM DURING STARTUP
An apparatus for removing condensate from a steam line during a cold startup is provided, including a steam line with a first horizontal section, a vertical section, and a second horizontal section, the first horizontal section, the vertical section including a first centerline, the second horizontal section including, a first elbow, and a second elbow, the first elbow fluidically connected to the first horizontal section and the vertical section, and including an interior surface, the second elbow fluidically connected to the vertical section and the second horizontal section, a permanent flange on an exterior surface of the second elbow, penetrating the exterior surface, and aligned with the first centerline, and a dip tube, and a temporary flange configured to mate with the permanent flange, wherein a distil end of the dip tube is inserted into the permanent flange and positioned parallel to the first centerline.
