Method of making dried food products
A process for making a shelf-stable food, not requiring preservatives or refrigeration and in a form that is convenient for use as a snack food. A block of tofu or wheat gluten is first frozen so as to cause the formation of ice crystals that form cavities within the block. The frozen block is then thawed, cut into smaller pieces and drained of excess water. The thawed pieces are dried in a microwave-vacuum dehydrator to produce a crunchy food product.

FOOD PROCESS LINE FOR IN-LINE PROCESSING FOOD AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING FOOD
A food process line and method are provided for processing food in a food process line. The food process line includes at least two of the following process line stations: a food preparation station, cold store, pump station or forming station for a pumpable food mass, or a dry coater, wet coating device, fryer, heater or freezer for the discrete food products. In each process line station at least one process step is carried out, the process line station having one or more actuators and/or one or more sensors. The food process line comprises an interstation control system configured to control an actuator of a first process line station on the basis of data from a sensor of a second process line station.
FROZEN FOOD PRODUCT, FROZEN FOOD PACKAGING CONTAINER, AND FROZEN FOOD PACKAGING MATERIAL
A frozen food product according to the present application comprises: a frozen food; a food container having formed therein an inner space for accommodating the frozen food and formed of an edible material; and a packaging material including a first packaging material surrounding the frozen food and disposed between the food container and the frozen food, and a second packaging material surrounding the food container, in order to prevent moisture from being transferred to the food container, wherein the packaging material generates heat by means of microwaves.

Cover for a drawer, and vacuum drawer device with a cover
To configure existing drawers as evacuable drawers of a vacuum drawer device, a cover for installation in the drawer body can be used. The cover evacuates at the drawer interior with an evacuation system, so that the interior is evacuated when the drawer is closed and ventilated before the drawer is opened. The cover is airtight, is profiled in such that evacuation with a controller, a pump and a valve are fixedly integrated in at least one recess in the cover and the cover has at least one air channel leading into the inside of the cover or, respectively, into the at least one recess, with the air channel operatively connected to the evacuation system such that when the cover is placed onto the drawer, air from the interior can be pumped out of the interior, the inside of the cover interior or, respectively, the at least one recess through the air duct.
MICROWAVABLE PACKAGED FROZEN RICE HAVING SCORCHED TEXTURE
The present application relates to microwavable packaged frozen rice and a manufacturing method therefor, and applies a susceptor technique to packaged frozen rice so as to produce, through a cooking process using a microwave oven, the scorched texture of rice which could only be produced through pan cooking.

Frying unit
A frying unit, comprising an oil pan (1) which is essentially open on top, a transport unit (2), using which a basket (3) is movable from a filling position into the interior of the oil pan (1) and using which the basket (3) is movable from the interior of the oil pan (1) into an emptying position, wherein the oil pan (1) is designed in such a way that it can accommodate multiple baskets (3) simultaneously, and the transport unit (2) is designed in such a way that the baskets (3) are movable independently of one another.
Automated Packaging Assembly Line for Perishable Items
An automated apparatus and method for configuring and producing packaging for orders of variable configurations of perishable items includes an automatic case erector-sealer; a packing liner dispenser; a cold pack dispenser; a control system; a point of sale ecommerce platform; and a data processor to capture order configuration, order destination, and available order points of origin. The control system captures and uses the order configuration, destination, and delivery date, to generate a time in transit (TNT), total volume, cold volume, and ambient volume, of items in the order. The total volume and cold volume are used to generate a product cube category (PCC). The TNT and the PCC are used to generate a packaging configuration for the order. The system uses the packaging configuration to generate and send operational directives to one or more of the automatic case erector-sealer, the packing liner dispenser, and the cold pack dispenser.
