SHABBAT COMPRESSOR
A gas insulating interface between a compressed gas source and sink is presented. In some embodiments, the interface includes a primary tank for receiving a gas from the compressed gas source, a secondary gas tank for receiving a gas from the primary gas tank and for providing gas to the sink, valves for communicating the above elements, and/or a controller. The controller may control valves by control operations. Optionally, no control operation thereof responds to gas consuming immediately before the control operation. The controller may follow a predetermined duty cycle. The gas interface may include a pressure gauge of the primary gas tank and/or an emptying valve, which may communicate with the controller. Optionally, the gas insulating interface includes a detachable connector to the compressed gas source and/or a detachable connector to compressed devices. Optionally, there is a communication channel to the compressed gas source.
Gas filling method
To provide a gas filling method in which it is possible to estimate a volume of a tank with high accuracy even when the tank has a small volume. A hydrogen filling system includes a hydrogen station having a pressure accumulator of compressed hydrogen gas, a vehicle having a hydrogen tank, a connection tube system that connects the accumulator and the tank, and a flow rate sensor and a station pressure sensor provided on the connection tube system. A hydrogen gas filling method is a method of filling the tank with the hydrogen gas from the pressure accumulator and includes estimating a volume of the hydrogen tank based on detection values of the flow rate sensor and the station pressure sensor and a volume value of the connection tube system, after a start of filling of the hydrogen tank with the hydrogen gas from the pressure accumulator.
LOW EMISSION NOZZLES AND RECEPTACLES
A receptacle includes a main body, a stem, a poppet connected to the stem and defining an inner check void, a spring configured to bias the poppet to a closed poppet position, and a check assembly at least partially disposed in the inner check void. The check assembly includes a check and a check spring. The check is configured to move relative to the main body. The check spring is configured to bias the check toward a closed check position. The check has a first surface area and the poppet has a second surface area that is larger than the first surface area of the poppet such that a fluid force causes the check to move to an open check position before causing the poppet to move to an open poppet position.
Method and control unit for monitoring a pressure tank system
A method monitors a pressure tank system of a stationary vehicle. The method detects a wake-up situation by use of sensor data of a main sensor of the vehicle. Furthermore, in reaction to the detection of a wake-up situation, the method activates a further resource for detecting and/or for evaluating sensor data with regard to the pressure tank system. Moreover, the method determines, by use of the further resource, whether one or more protective measures are to be carried out in relation to the pressure tank system and/or the surroundings thereof.
HYDROGEN FILLING STATION CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD AND HYDROGEN FILLING STATION
A hydrogen filling station control system and method of use, and a hydrogen filling station comprising the system. The system includes: a first compressor, a second compressor, a first storage tank, a detector and a controller, wherein discharge pressure of the first compressor is smaller than a gas storage pressure of the first storage tank, discharge pressure of the second compressor is larger than or equals the gas storage pressure of the first storage tank, the first compressor and the second compressor are connected to the first storage tank, and the detector is configured to detect pressure of the first storage tank. The controller is configured to control the first compressor to inflate and pressurize the first storage tank and control, when the first storage tank equals a first preset pressure, the second compressor to inflate and pressurize the first storage tank. Reduced costs and power consumption can be realized.
Service device for a pressure vessel system
A service device for a pressure vessel system of a motor vehicle includes a service-device-side refueling coupling part which is connectable to a motor-vehicle-side refueling coupling part of the motor vehicle and a controller for activating the pressure vessel system. A method for the service of the pressure vessel system includes producing a connection between the service device and the pressure vessel system and activating the pressure vessel system by the service device.
Low emission nozzles and receptacles
A nozzle for dispensing fluid includes a probe slidably disposed in a main body. The probe has a probe body defining a check sealing surface and a check void. A check assembly is at least partially disposed in the check void, and includes a check configured to move relative to the main body and the probe body. A spring is configured to bias the check to sealingly engage the check against the check sealing surface of the probe body.
Portable Refueling Device
The present invention provides a portable refueler for storing a quantity of gaseous fuel, optionally hydrogen, for refueling an end-user vehicle, comprising: a plurality of storage tanks, each storage tank comprising at least one cylinder which is horizontally arranged within an enclosure, wherein the enclosure is configured to be carried by a vehicle, and, a refueling nozzle for discharging a quantity of the gaseous fuel to the end-user vehicle during refueling.
Systems and methods for transporting fuel and carbon dioxide in a dual fluid vessel
Embodiments of systems and methods for transporting fuel and carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) in a dual-fluid vessel thereby minimizing transportation between locations are disclosed. In an embodiment, the dual-fluid vessel has an outer shell with two or more inner compartments, positioned within the outer shell, including a first inner compartment for storing CO.sub.2 and a second inner compartment for storing fuel. The dual-fluid vessel may connect or attach to a transportation vehicle to thereby allow transportation of the fuel and CO.sub.2. Insulation may provide temperature regulation for the fuel and CO.sub.2 when positioned in the respective first and second inner compartments. One or more ports having an opening in and through the outer shell and a fluid pathway to one or more of the first inner compartment or the second inner compartment may provide fluid communication through the opening and fluid pathway for loading/offloading the fuel and/or CO.sub.2.
Gas supply system
The gas supply system of this invention is furnished with a cylinder apparatus having a pneumatic valve that supplies process gas to a process chamber, and a solenoid valve that opens or closes said pneumatic valve by supplying or stopping the flow of valve actuating gas to said pneumatic valve; and a gas supply control apparatus that controls the actuation of the solenoid valve. In addition, said gas supply control apparatus comprises a main controller that controls the actuation of said solenoid valve during normal operation, and a sub-controller that senses an abnormal state of said main controller and if an abnormality is sensed, controls the actuation of said solenoid valve instead of said main controller.
