Closure for pressure vessel or pipeline
A closure is provided for a pressure vessel or pipelines that can provide quick and easy access to the interior of a pressure vessel or pipeline, and means for a pressure tight seal between the hub and door. The closure can incorporate means for mechanically fastening the door to the hub using an external split clamp ring actuated by a toggle mechanism. A locking mechanism can be provided to safeguard against unintended closure actuation, and provides a layer of redundancy to the holding characteristics of the toggle mechanism. The locking mechanism can be interlocked to a pressure alert system to ensure any differential pressure condition contained within the closure is detected prior to disengaging the locking mechanism and actuating the toggle mechanism.
LIQUEFIED GAS-BASED RAPID COOLING POSSIBILITY DETERMINATION DEVICE, LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK, LIQUEFIED GAS CARRYING VESSEL, AND LIQUEFIED GAS-BASED RAPID COOLING POSSIBILITY DETERMINATION METHOD
The present invention provides a control device that includes a first temperature detection unit that detects a partition wall temperature of a tank main body in which liquefied gas is contained, and a second temperature detection unit that detects a temperature of a skirt that supports the tank main body. The control device further includes a temperature difference acquisition unit that acquires a temperature difference between the partition wall temperature detected by the first temperature detection unit and the temperature of the skirt which is detected by the second temperature detection unit, and a determination unit that determines whether or not a joint between the tank main body and the skirt is rapidly cooled by the liquefied gas on the basis of the partition wall temperature and the temperature difference.
Inactive gas introducing facility and inactive gas introducing method
An inactive gas introducing facility for a storage rack is provided in which supply of inactive gas to a container is stopped if an open state of an inspection door is detected while in a normal stop state in which a stop nullifying command is not issued and in which the supply of the inactive gas based on the immediately preceding supply pattern is continued and any changes, through manual operation, to a parameter that defines the immediately preceding supply pattern are prohibited, if an open state of an inspection door is detected while in a stop nullifying state in which the stop nullifying command is issued.
BOIL-OFF GAS SUPPLY DEVICE
A boil-off gas supply device is provided with: a storage tank configured to store a liquefied gas; a first compression mechanism configured to suck in the boil-off gas of the liquefied gas stored in the storage tank and compress the sucked boil-off gas; a second compression mechanism configured to compress the boil-off gas after being compressed by the first compression mechanism; a discharge path in which the boil-off gas discharged from the second compression mechanism flows; a first drive source configured to drive the first compression mechanism; and a second drive source that is different from the first drive source and configured to drive the second compression mechanism.
GAS SUPPLY DEVICE AND GAS SUPPLY METHOD
A gas supply device includes a storage container that accumulates liquefied gas, a vaporizer for vaporizing liquefied gas derived from the storage container, a compression device that compresses gas vaporized from the liquefied gas in the vaporizer, a pressure accumulator that accumulates gas compressed in the compression device, and a supply path linked to a dispenser from the pressure accumulator.
Compressed gas filling method and system
A method of filling a storage vessel with a fuel gas at a fuel dispenser. In various embodiments, the method includes providing a fuel dispenser comprising a housing defining a fluid flow path therein, the fluid flow path operatively connected with a source of the fuel gas. The fuel dispenser includes a control valve disposed along the fluid flow path and a controller in operative electronic communication therewith. The method also includes actuating the control valve to provide a predetermined difference between the pressure of the fuel gas upstream of the control valve and the pressure of the fuel gas downstream of the control valve. The predetermined difference is selected such that the temperature of the fuel gas is reduced to a predetermined temperature after passing through the control valve. The method also includes dispensing the fuel gas into the storage vessel, the fuel gas having first mass flow rate.
Pneumatic emergency shutdown system
The invention relates to a pneumatic emergency shutdown system for a liquefied gas supply arrangement in which liquefied gas is supplied between a first tank and a second tank. The pneumatic emergency shutdown system comprises a pneumatic emergency shutdown circuit comprising pressure medium and provided in connection with the first tank and a pneumatic emergency shutdown link provided to the pneumatic emergency shutdown circuit, said a pneumatic emergency shutdown link connecting the pneumatic emergency shutdown circuit to a pneumatic controlling system of the second tank.
EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM FOR LIQUEFIED HYDROGEN
An emergency release system includes a first shut-off valve unit which is land-based; and a second shut-off valve unit which is provided for a marine vessel and separably connected to the first shut-off valve unit, and the first shut-off valve unit is provided with a reservoir container which receives liquid air generated in the first shut-off valve unit and dropped, in a state in which the second shut-off valve unit is separated from the first shut-off valve unit, and the system includes. a container support mechanism which is capable of retaining the reservoir container at a retracted position in a state in which the first and second shut-off valve units are connected to each other, the container support mechanism being configured to automatically shift the reservoir container to a reserving position, in a state in which the first and second shut-off valve units are separated from each other.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GAS MANAGEMENT
The invention relates to a system and method for managing gas within one or more receptacles in one or more locations. The system and method comprises a control system that is configured to analyse data relating to gas transfer operations to identify gas leaks and to calculate the rate of any gas leaks identified.
Washing apparatus
A washing apparatus has a vacuum unit and a pressure washer unit. The vacuum unit has a mud tank, a first centrifuge, and a second centrifuge, and the pressure washer unit has a first water tank having a bottom, a top and a side, and a second water tank having a bottom, a top and a side. A frame having a top, a base and four corners supports the vacuum unit and pressure washer unit. The first centrifuge and the second centrifuge are fixed in respective first and second corners of the frame, and the first water tank and second water tank are fixed in respective third and fourth corners of the frame.
