APPLIANCE END FITTING
An end fitting for use in connecting a gas source in fluid communication to an appliance, includes a nut mounted by a fusible and meltable heat activatable material on a socket having a chamber for receiving a plug. The plug connects to the gas source and the socket connects to the appliance. An O-ring of meltable heat activatable material separates the plug and socket. The socket includes a spring that biases a valve member against the plug and between closed and open conditions, respectively, to block or permit fluid flow from a source and through the chamber. In case of excess heat buildup in the socket body, the heat activatable materials melt but unless the gas source is turned off always allow a predetermined amount of gas to flow.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING THE FILLING, STORAGE AND DISPENSING OF CARBON DIOXIDE FROM MULTIPLE CONTAINERS WITHOUT OVER PRESSURIZATION
This invention relates to a novel method and system for dispensing CO2 vapor without over pressurization. The system includes one or more liquid containers and one or more vapor containers. The system is designed to operate in a specific manner whereby a restricted amount of CO2 liquid is permitted into the vapor container through a restrictive pathway that is created and maintained by a shuttle valve during the filling operation so that equalization of container pressures is achieved, thereby allowing shuttle valve to reseat when filling has stopped. During use, a pressure differential device is designed to specifically isolate the vapor container from the liquid container so as to preferentially deplete liquid CO2 from the vapor container and avoid over pressurization of the system until the vapor container. The system is operated so that at least 50% of the CO2 product is dispensed from the vapor container. The system also includes novel control methodology for performing pre-fill integrity checks to ensure safety of subsequent dispensing of CO2 liquid from a source vessel to the onsite CO2 containers.

During use, a pressure differential device is designed to specifically isolate the vapor container from the liquid container so as to preferentially deplete liquid CO2 from the vapor container and avoid over pressurization of the system until the vapor container becomes liquid dry. The system can be operated so that at least 50% of the CO2 vapor product is dispensed from the vapor container.
High-pressure composite vessel and the method of manufacturing high-pressure composite vessel
A hight-pressure composite vessel comprising a casing fabricated through blow-moulding a preform of thermoplastic, a connection pipe fitting. In the connection connection pipe fitting (3) with a retaining collar (7), opposite to a sealing groove (9) designed for an o-ring seal, there is a groove (10) for a seeger to mount a non-detachable collar (11a) of the preform (11) by way of the seeger (10a). A method of manufacturing the high-pressure composite vessel under which the casing of the vessel is fabricated of a perform that is blow-moulded so as to obtain the required dimensions thereof, whereas the preform of a thermoplastic material is fabricated using any technology; and the casing of the vessel is connected with the connection pipe fitting, and the external surface of the vessel re reinforced by a special composite layer. The preform (11) first undergoes a process of controlled crystallization and, then, the ring-shaped groove (11b) is made in the collar (11a) of the preform (11).
HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A PORTABLE PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDER
Provided is a handle assembly for a cylinder. The handle assembly includes a shroud configured to attach to a collar of the cylinder to partially surround a valve port of the cylinder, the shroud having a body with first and second ends circumferentially spaced from one another to define a gap through which a valve is configured to extend, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced locking protrusions projecting from the body, and a handle configured to attach to the shroud, the handle having a body defining a channel for receiving the shroud, and first and second ends circumferentially spaced from one another to define a gap through which the valve is configured to extend, wherein the channel includes a plurality of openings in a wall thereof through which the locking protrusions extend when the handle is attached to the shroud to secure the handle to the shroud.

Pressure regulator with identification device
A pressure regulator for installing in a fluid flow system. The pressure regulator comprises a body and an identification device coupled to the body. The identification device has a first portion with first identification information and a second portion with second identification information. The second portion of the identification device is separated from the pressure regulator while the first portion of the identification device remains coupled to the pressure regulator. The second portion of the identification device is then affixed to a surface, such as a form.
Closed-loop air-to-water air conditioning system
An air conditioning system including a condenser system and a closed-loop air-to-water system. The condenser system includes a compressor which pressurizes refrigerant and distributes the pressurized refrigerant to at least one condenser coil, which climatizes water; and a fan which exhausts heat from the pressurized refrigerant. The closed-loop air-to-water system includes a climatized liquid tank, which receives climatized water from the at least one condenser coil; and an air handler disposed within a building, the air handler having a climatized liquid coil. The air handler is disposed to receive air from inside the building; transfer thermal energy from the climatized liquid coil to ambient air, creating climatized air; and distribute the climatized air to at least a portion of the building. The climatized water may be distributed to a recycled liquid tank, which may redistribute the climatized water to the climatized liquid tank, forming a closed-loop air-to-water system.
