GAS METER SYSTEM AND HEATING VALUE ESTIMATION METHOD
A gas meter system is configured to: derive a unit heating value of a gas passing through a first gas meter; and estimate a heating value of a gas passing through a second gas meter provided separately from the first gas meter based on the heating value of the gas of the first gas meter that is arranged within a predetermined range with respect to the second gas meter on a gas supply pipe configured to supply the gas. The gas meter system and a heating value estimation method can estimate a heating value of a gas with high accuracy.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING AND ANALYZING OPERATIONAL INFORMATION FROM A NETWORK OF COMPONENTS ASSOCIATED WITH A LIQUID ENERGY COMMODITY
A method for collecting and analyzing operational information from a network of components associated with a liquid energy commodity comprises the steps of: (a) measuring an amount of the liquid energy commodity in storage at one or more storage facilities in the network, and storing that measurement data; (b) determining a flow rate of the liquid energy commodity in one or more selected pipelines in the network, and storing that flow rate data; (c) ascertaining an operational status of one or more processing facilities in the network, and storing that operational status information; (d) analyzing the measurement data, the flow rate data, and the operational status information to determine a balance of the liquid energy commodity in the network or a selected portion thereof at a given time; and (e) communicating information about the balance of the liquid energy commodity to a third-party market participant.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DELIVERING HYDROGEN
A system and method for transporting and distributing hydrogen, reducing the risk of hydrogen leakage, maintaining a record of provenance, and measuring and recording its purity level as it flows from source to destination to assure it complies with a predetermined range of values. The system includes a hydrogen delivery line made from metallic or non-metallic pipe that may be placed inside a safety pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the hydrogen delivery line and an interior of the safety pipe. A sweeper gas or liquid may be injected into the channel to purge any hydrogen that might escape from the hydrogen delivery line, and one or more sensors may be used to detect and avoid the presence of an unacceptable level of hydrogen, or to stop the flow of hydrogen and remediate the problem well before a safety or environmental risk can occur.

INTEGRATED MAINTENANCE SYSTEM FOR MULTIPHASE METERING SYSTEM
A method for maintaining a multiphase metering system (MPMS) may include obtaining a plurality of values associated with a plurality of measurements of a parameter made by a sensor device, wherein the parameter is associated with operation of the MPMS; identifying, based on the plurality of values, an issue with the MPMS; determining a process to resolve the issue with the MPMS; and implementing the process to resolve the issue with the MPMS using a fluid management apparatus coupled to the MPMS.

Supply-chain characteristic-vectors merchandising system and methods
In some configurations, a supply-chain characteristic-vectors merchandising system and a method for an environmental characteristic-vectors of a gas communicating from an upstream amenity to a downstream amenity in a supply-chain may be disclosed. The system may be configured to track oil and/or gas throughout the supply-chain by associating characteristic-vectors (e.g., environmental, operational, physical etc.) of the upstream amenity and the downstream amenity with the energy units of the gas transmitted through the supply-chain.
