METHOD FOR PREVENTING SPILLS RESULTING FROM PIPELINE FAILURES
A petroleum pipeline safety system for preventing contamination of an environmentally sensitive area close to a pipeline includes an upstream portion of the pipeline supplying a flow of fluid material, a crossing portion of the pipeline receiving the flow of fluid material from the upstream portion and conveying the flow of fluid material through the environmentally sensitive area to a downstream portion of the pipeline, the downstream portion, a pipeline pressure activated valve selectively capable of blocking the flow of fluid material from entering the crossing portion based upon a change in pressure within the crossing portion, and a fluid capacitor connected to the upstream portion configured to filter out a pressure spike in the upstream portion associated with the valve blocking the flow of fluid material.
Pipe protector
A pipeline shield is formed of modular pipeline shield panels into a generally tubular shape to fittingly envelope a pipeline. Each panel is formed of a rectangular sheet of durable material formed or formable into an arcuate shape having longitudinal ribs projecting radially from a surface of the sheet and defining longitudinal valleys, and coupling means configured for secure assembly with other modular pipeline shield panels to form the pipeline shield. The pipeline shield reduces or prevents damage from impact or abrasion when the pipeline is lowered into a trench and buried. The longitudinal ribs may extend an entire length of the panel, or may be less than an entire length of the panel and longitudinally staggered to facilitate rolling of the pipeline in a roller cradle during installation. Drainage holes provide for drainage of liquid away from the pipeline or to provide a path for cathodic protection current.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERY OF LEAKING GASES FROM COMPRESSION AND REGULATION SYSTEMS
A system and method for recovering fugitive natural gas emissions from compressors. Leak capture devices can be connected to piston rods of the compressor for collecting emissions both during operation and periods where the compressor is shutdown. Captured natural gas is repressurized with cylindrical pumps based on the flow rate of the captured emissions. The equipment can also be configured for capturing blow down events of the equipment.
METHOD FOR FROST HEAVE PREVENTION TREATMENT OF SMART GAS PIPELINE AND INTERNET OF THINGS SYSTEM THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a method for frost heave prevention treatment of a smart gas pipeline and an Internet of Things system. The method includes: determining gas pressure change data of a target point based on gas transmission data of the target point and gas pipeline data of the target point; predicting temperature change data of the target point through a temperature model based on the gas pressure change data of the target point; and predicting, based on the temperature change data of the target point, the gas pipeline data of the target point, and the gas pressure change data of the target point, and in combination with environmental data of the target point, frost heave degree data of the target point.
Gas network and method for detecting obstructions in a gas network under pressure or under vacuum
A method is provided for detecting obstructions in a gas network with sensors, which determine the physical parameters of the gas. The gas network includes controllable throttle valves and with state sensors, which can register the status of throttle valves. The method includes: a training phase in which a mathematical model is established between the measurements of sensors in which one or a plurality of adjustable throttle valves are controlled to generate obstructions; and an operational phase in which the mathematical model established between the measurements of the first and second groups are used to detect obstructions in the gas network. The operational phase includes: calculating the reading of the first and second groups of sensors using the mathematical model; determining the difference between the calculated and read values; and determining the existence of an obstruction on the basis of the aforementioned difference.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DETECTION SYSTEM FOR DEEP-BURIED FUEL GAS PIPELINE LEAKAGE
The present disclosure provides an artificial intelligence detection system for deep-buried fuel gas pipeline leakage, including a multi-field source information collecting system, a data processing and analyzing system, and a monitoring and warning system, wherein the multi-field source information collecting system includes a concentration field collecting subsystem, a temperature field collecting subsystem, and a geoelectric field collecting subsystem; the concentration field collecting subsystem collects concentration field data; the temperature field collecting subsystem collects temperature field data; the geoelectric field collecting subsystem collects geoelectric field data; the data processing and analyzing system receives the concentration field data, temperature field data and geoelectric field data, calculates variations of the respective data, compares the variations with corresponding variation thresholds, and determines whether to generate a warning signal; the monitoring and warning system alarms upon receipt of the warning signal generated by the data processing and analyzing system.
Liquid detection device with wireless communicator
Devices, systems, and methods of detecting and providing an alert regarding the presence of liquid contamination in a pneumatic supply line and/or in a pneumatic instrument are described. A liquid detection device configured to be coupled to the pneumatic supply includes an electronic liquid sensor configured to detect the presence of liquid in the pneumatic supply and a wireless communicator configured to transmit data from the electronic liquid sensor to a wireless communication node. The liquid detection device may be installed at different locations along a pneumatic supply in a plant. The plant network can forward the transmitted message from the communication node onto a plant computer, where and alert or other message may be provided to an operator or other computer system when water or other liquid is detected.

In addition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible to immediately check a gas leak and take a measure through a user terminal or a management module to prevent a large accident caused by the gas leak in advance.
