Hydrophilic high quantum yield acridinium esters with improved stability and fast light emission

Hydrophilic, high quantum yield, chemiluminescent acridinium compounds with increased light output, improved stability, fast light emission and decreased non specific binding are disclosed. The chemiluminescent acridinium esters possess hydrophilic, branched, electron-donating functional groups at the C2 and/or C7 positions of the acridinium nucleus.

A tactical chemical light stick dispenser to provide the ability of a user to quickly and accurately deploy chemical light stick devices from a contained and protected chemical light stick housing device. The tactical chemical light stick dispenser employs 1.5” chemical lights sticks that give off just the right amount of light necessary to effectively mark a room visited or identified without the need for larger chemical light sticks as seen in traditional bundles.

KITS, MICROFLUIDICS DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING BIOTIN ASSAYS

Kits containing a chemiluminescent detection system and microfluidics devices and methods for determining the concentration of biotin in a sample are disclosed. The kits, microfluidics devices, and methods utilize a sensitizer capable of generating singlet oxygen in its excited state and having avidin or an analog thereof directly or indirectly bound thereto, as well as a singlet oxygen-activatable chemiluminescent compound having biotin or an analog thereof directly or indirectly bound thereto.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BREATHING CIRCUIT ILLUMINATION
20210145535 · 2021-05-20 ·

Method and apparatus for illuminating a patient's face during performing anesthesia (or other medical procedures) may comprise mounting a lighting device to a breathing circuit having a mask or an intubation tube. A clamp having two clips may be used to mount the lighting device, which may be a glowstick. One clip may hold the glow stick, while the other clip may mount the device to an appropriate portion of the breathing circuit. In use, the user (anesthesiologist) would activate the lighting device (e.g., glowstick) and attach (mount) the lighting device to the breathing circuit using the clamp.
