Task-area light

A light assembly includes a base, and a first light source supported by the base. The first light source includes a first light emitting diode configured to emit light in a first direction from the base. The light assembly additionally includes a second light source supported by the base, the second light source including a plurality of second light emitting diodes configured to emit light in a second direction from the base. The second light source is obliquely oriented relative to the base. The light assembly additionally includes a diffuser supported by the base, the diffuser extending upwardly from the base to enclose the first light source. The diffuser diffuses light emitted from the first light source to the surrounding area in an upward and outward direction.

A compact precision illumination source mounts on a finger of a user for providing localized illumination for precision tasks such as surgical procedures and other tasks performed in dark or confined spaces. A frame having a circular or arcuate shape engages the finger, and secures an enclosure having a small but powerful bright, light focused on a predetermined region defined by the end of the digit that is likely the activity region for an instrument grasped by the digit. The frame engages a charge module for aligning external conductors for recharging a power supply in the illumination source.

Improvements a portable elevated lighting system that uses LED lighting elements for illumination. The LED lights are selected based upon the light transmission angle so the fewest number of lighting elements are needed to provide an even flood or focus of light from the system. A reflector works as a heat sink to remove heat from the LED lights and extend the operation life of the LED's. Thermal paste and or a thermal pad is used between the LED lighting element and the frame to conduct sufficient heat away from the LED element. Two versions are shown as a stadium light and as a circular flood light that provides lighting without shadows or bright areas. The system can be operated from a generator or solar for charging batteries so the lighting can operate self-contained without producing noise.

A cube for use in a restaurant allowing patrons to more easily notify their server they are in need of something. The cube is equipped with a lighting mechanism that adjusts colors that represent the status of the patrons dining. The cube contains a shell that has an upper surface and lower surface separated by an indent. The cube has a pair of switches that reside within a divot slightly larger in size that the switch. The charging station for the cube has a dock, a layer, and a power supply. The dock has a base equipped with a plurality of dock base towers, each having a plurality of dock tower connections. The dock base has a plurality of base supports each having a central plug. The layer also has layer connection towers each equipped with layer tower connections allowing the layer to function in tandem with the dock base.

WORK CART CHARGING

A charging module is configured to be removably coupled to a mobile work cart. The charging module includes a housing having a first end, a second end, a front side, and a rear side. The housing defines a cavity in the front side and includes a charging bay located within the cavity. The charging bay is configured to removably receive a battery pack to electrically connect the battery pack to the charging module. The charging module also includes a clamp coupled to the rear side of the housing. The clamp includes a handle portion and an arm. The clamp is movable relative to the housing between a deployed position and a retracted position. The clamp is biased toward the retracted position. The housing defines a recess in the rear side. When the clamp is in the retracted position the arm is received within the recess.
