WAVEGUIDE-BASED LIGHT SOURCES WITH DYNAMIC BEAM SHAPING
Luminaires are described herein employing waveguides and associated architectures for dynamic alteration of illuminance distribution patterns. The waveguide includes a light extraction component. The waveguide transmits light from a light source to the light extraction component by total internal reflection (TIR). The light extraction component includes one or more reversibly moveable surfaces for altering illuminance distribution patterns of the luminaire in response to one or more forces applied to the light extraction component by a force application assembly of the luminaire.
Lamp
A lamp comprises a lamp body and a connecting rod assembly. The connecting rod assembly is alternatively connected to a first connecting member or a second connecting member respectively to define a first use state and a second use state. When in the first use state, one or more connecting rods of at least three connecting rods which are connected successively in an axial direction define a lifting rod, and a first end of the lifting rod is connected to the first connecting member. When in the second use state, first ends of the at least three connecting rods are connected to the second connecting member, and second ends of the at least three connecting rods are spaced apart from each other to define a placing plane within which a vertical projection of a center of gravity of the lamp body is located.
Album cover lamp
The invention is an album cover lamp comprising a lamp having a body and a light assembly. An album cover, such as provided when purchasing a vinyl music album is adhesively attached to the body having a design side facing outward from the body. The handle and light assembly may comprise a plumbing type piping arrangement on the side and top of the body having a cord passageway extend from the handle to the light assembly.
TRIPOD LIGHT
A tripod light includes a frame supporting a light assembly, and a support assembly coupled to the frame and configured to support the frame on a surface. The support assembly includes a first leg, a second leg, and a third leg. The support assembly is pivotable relative to the frame about a first axis between a stowed position in which the support assembly including the first leg, the second leg and the third leg is adjacent the frame, and a deployed position in which the support assembly including the first leg, the second leg, and the third leg extends away from the frame. Each of the second leg and the third leg is configured to rotate relative to the first leg about a second axis between a collapsed position and a respective extended position of the second leg and the third leg.
Light and speaker apparatus
A light and speaker apparatus comprising a light, one or more audio speakers, and various channels which permit sound to project in multiple directions including both upwards and downwards. In some embodiments, the light and the one or more speakers are positioned within a chamber inside the apparatus.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY HAVING AN INTEGRATED COFFEE/TEA HEATER
A lighting assembly, including: (a) a frame sub-assembly; and (b) an electronics sub-assembly, wherein the electronics sub-assembly includes at least one light, and at least one heating element associated with the frame sub-assembly.
ELECTRONICALLY-CONTROLLED PORTABLE LIGHTING TOWER
A portable lighting tower includes a frame, a mast coupled to the frame including a light, a plurality of legs coupled to the frame, each leg including an actuator operable to deploy and retract the respective leg, a controller operatively coupled to the actuators and configured to control operation of the actuators, and a tilt sensor operably coupled to the controller and configured to generate a tilt signal indicative of a tilt of the portable lighting tower relative to horizontal. The controller is configured to determine a grade of the portable lighting tower based on the tilt signal, determine an extended length of each leg based on the determined grade of the portable lighting tower, and, after determining the extended length of each leg, operate each of the actuators to deploy the respective leg from a storage configuration to the determined extended length.
Lamp
Disclosed is a lamp, including a base, a height adjustable controller, a steering gear, a light source, and a control assembly electrically connected to the light source. The steering gear includes a seat body, a positioning ring, a spring, a tray, a steering ball, and a steering tube connected to the steering ball and the light source, the seat body has a first through hole and a first opening communicated with the first through hole, the positioning ring and the tray are mounted in the first through hole, the spring is clamped between the positioning ring and the tray, the tray is clamped between the spring and the steering ball, a part of the steering ball is located in the first through hole, and a remaining part of the steering ball is protruded out the first through hole from the first opening and connected with the steering tube.
Illuminated top furniture
Illuminated top furniture including an illuminated top portion and a support portion. The illuminated top portion includes a support layer, at least one light source, a light diffusion layer and an upper protective layer. The at least one light source is mounted to the support layer. The light diffusion layer is positioned on a side of the at least one light source that is opposite the support layer. The upper protective layer is positioned on a side of the light diffusion layer that is opposite the support layer. At least a portion of the upper protective layer is transparent such that light emitted by the at least one light source is visible through the upper protective layer while the light diffusion layer obscures the at least one light source so that the at least one light source is not visible through the upper protective layer. The support portion is attached to the illuminated top portion to support the illuminated top portion above a ground surface.
MODULAR LAMPS AND METHODS OF USING MODULAR LAMPS
Modular lamps and methods for their use. The modular lamps include a body and a light source carried by the body. The body is configured to operate a flashlight as the light source and to allow the flashlight to be removed from the base for use separately from the base and reinstalled to the base for use as the light source. The body may be configured to interchangeably operate either the flashlight or a lightbulb as the light source. The modular lamps may include a lamp base configured to be placed on a support surface to maintain the body in an upright position. The modular lamps may include a shade to shade light emitted as by the light source.
