Daylight responsive LED illumination panel with color temperature control
An illumination panel employing two or more groups of light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light in different color temperatures, an optically transmissive sheet with light deflecting surface structures, and an LED driver electrically connected to the LEDs. The illumination panel further incorporates two or more LED intensity control channels and one or more pulse width modulation (PWM) circuits. The LED intensity control channels are configured to independently control the light output from the individual LED groups and the LED driver is further configured to provide dimming of the LEDs in response to a change of the intensity of incident natural daylight.

Daylight responsive LED lighting fixture with dimming and color temperature control
A daylight responsive lighting fixture employing two or more groups of light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light in different color temperatures, an optically transmissive light distribution sheet, and an LED driver electrically connected to the LEDs and having two or more LED intensity control channels and one or more pulse width modulation (PWM) circuits. The LED driver is configured to independently control the light output from the LED groups so as to vary the color temperature of the lighting fixture and to provide dimming of the LEDs in response to a change of the intensity of natural daylight incident onto an area of the lighting fixture.
ADJUSTABLE WHITE LIGHT ILLUMINATION DEVICES
A lighting device producing white light having a target color correlated temperature (CCT) value includes an LED array having one or more red LEDs, one or more warm white LEDs, and one or more cool white LED; one or more photo-luminescent materials for shifting the CCT value of the light emitted from the cool white LED toward a green CCT value and/or the CCT value of the light emitted from the warm white LED toward a yellow CCT value; and a waveguide material having a mixing region for mixing the shifted and unshifted light so as to generate white light having the target CCT value and an output region for outputting the white light.
Flickering mineral light
A flickering source of illumination is disclosed. A first, second and third group of LEDs and a control circuit are also disclosed. The control circuit is adapted to control a switch to selectively switch on the first group, the second group, and the third group of LEDs. The flickering source of illumination includes a translucent mineral positioned around the groups of LEDs. The translucent mineral is adapted to allow light emitted by the LEDs to pass through the translucent mineral and illuminate an area adjacent to the translucent mineral. The flickering source of illumination may include a first group of LEDs; a second group of LEDs; and a control circuit. The control circuit may be adapted to control a light output of the first and second groups of LEDs so that the first group of LEDs emits a different color of light than the second group of LEDs. The control circuit may be further adapted to selectively vary a color of the light output of the first group of LEDs and of the second group of LEDs. A translucent mineral positioned around the LEDs is also disclosed. The translucent mineral may be adapted to allow light emitted by the LEDs to pass through the translucent mineral and illuminate an area adjacent to the translucent mineral. The translucent mineral may be selected from a group including a salt rock, quartz, marble and natural stone.
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND LUMINAIRE FOR SIMULATING SUNNY SKY SCENES AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE LIGHTING SYSTEM
An optical element, a lighting system, and a LED luminaire simulate natural sunlight for a space, such as an indoor room. The optical element is disposed in front of a tunable white light source and includes unique microstructures, which when used with the tunable white light source, produces an appearance of the sun. The lighting system comprises the optical element, the tunable white light source assembling the sun and a color tunable light emitting panel assembling a sky. The luminaire incudes the lighting system, a driver, and a controlling device for simulating sunny sky scenes throughout the day.
