The vehicular lamp comprises a first and second light source each having a light emitting surface and being arranged in a predetermined parallel direction; a single condenser lens for condensing light emitted from the first and second light source; a light shielding member provided with an irradiation slit through which light condensed by the condenser lens is partially passed; and a projection lens for projecting light passed through the light shielding member to form an irradiation pattern. The first and second light source are arranged with an interval equal to or larger than dimensions in the parallel direction on the light emitting surfaces, the condenser lens makes a light distribution in which a high light quantity area with the highest light quantity is single in the parallel direction.

The light can be used as part of a rear light in a vehicle.

The light transmissive resin member has an L* value of 35 or less, a transmittance of light having a wavelength of 675 nm of 90% or greater and a total light transmittance of 5% or greater in the state in which an optical path length of transmitting light is 2 mm. This configuration provides an indicator lamp with excellent design that shows its presence by showing a red chromatic tone when a light source is turned on and that shows a black color tone when the light source is turned off.

The present invention enables further improvement of luminous efficiency of a semiconductor light-emitting element. In the present invention, a mounting member, a substrate, two semiconductor light-emitting elements, and three terminals are configured as a socket which is an integral structure, while a control circuit is configured separately from the socket. As a result, in the present invention, the control circuit is separated from the substrate of the socket, and therefore it becomes possible to further improve the luminous efficiency of the semiconductor light-emitting elements.

A vehicle LED lamp having a housing with a front lens of lens elements, a circuit board with LEDs, each providing light of one of three different colors, in which each LED is positioned with respect to a different one of the lens elements. A controller for operating the LEDs of a first color to indicate one or more of brake application (stop), activation of headlights, or turn signal, a second color to indicate reverse vehicle motion, and a third color to provide visual warning signals of one of solid on or flashing patterns. The LEDs of each of the different colors are positioned along the circuit board to substantially enable an entirety of the front lens to provide illumination from the lamp in each of the first, second, and third colors by the controller actuating those ones of the LEDs of the first, second, and third colors, respectively.
