The liquid crystal panel includes a first liquid crystal surface and a second liquid crystal surface, and the first liquid crystal surface is connected to at least one portion of the second main board surface. The liquid crystal panel is in a flat plate shape or only bends along a first direction.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A lighting device is provided for a motor vehicle, and contains numerous light modules for generating a different lighting functions. A segmented liquid-crystal display is placed in front of the light modules in the direction in which light is emitted, and that can be backlit, in which each segment of the LCD has a dedicated light module or group of light modules.
ROAD SURFACE DRAWING DEVICE
A road surface drawing device includes: a road surface drawing lamp that draws a pattern on a road surface and that is capable of changing a drawing color of the pattern; a brightness detector that measures a brightness of the road surface or a surrounding environment thereof; and a controller that determines the drawing color of the pattern based on an output of the brightness detector and that controls the road surface drawing lamp such that the pattern is drawn in the determined drawing color.
Lighting control method, vehicle, and taillight controller employing method
A lighting control method applied to a taillight controller, the taillight controller is installed on a first vehicle, the first vehicle configures with a taillight, the taillight is communicated with the taillight controller, the lighting control method comprising: obtaining influence parameters when a second vehicle is behind the first vehicle, wherein the influence parameters indicate whether the second vehicle violates a driving safety rule of the first vehicle; determining an objective brightness value of the taillight when the second vehicle violates the driving safety rule of the first vehicle; and sending brightness control instructions to the taillight, adjusting the brightness of the taillight to the objective brightness value based on the brightness control instructions. A vehicle and a taillight controller employing method are also disclosed.
Warning lights using dominantly visible violet light to induce fluorescence in photoluminescent materials
A warning light having light sources for emitting light of different colors via at least a lens, where one of the colors is violet and other of the colors is non-violet along a spectrum of visible illumination. A controller selectably activates the light source(s) emitting non-violet light to provide visible warning signals, and the light source(s) emitting violet light to provide fluorescent inducing signals dominantly along the spectrum of visible illumination which causes any object or surface having phosphors to fluoresce in order to enhance their visibility in low or zero ambient light environments. The lens and/or optional filter, or coating along the lens, filters or blocks ultraviolet light to shift the peak wavelength of violet light source(s) so that fluorescent inducing signals are dominantly or more dominantly of higher wavelengths along the spectrum of visible violet illumination to human eyes. Single and dual warning light housings embodiments are provided.
LIGHTING AND SIGNALLING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates mainly to a lighting and signalling device including at least one luminous module capable of generating a lighting beam along a longitudinal optical axis and an optical element through which the lighting beam is projected. The lighting and signalling device includes a controllable liquid-crystal screen pressed against the optical element, the controllable liquid-crystal screen being capable of adopting different diffusion states, including at least one state of projection of the lighting beam in which the controllable liquid-crystal screen is transparent and a state of emission of a signalling beam in which the controllable liquid-crystal screen is at least partially diffusing.
AIRCRAFT TAIL NAVIGATION LIGHT, AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AN AIRCRAFT TAIL NAVIGATION LIGHT, AND METHOD OF OPERATING AN AIRCRAFT TAIL NAVIGATION LIGHT
An aircraft tail navigation light comprises: a navigation lighting assembly for emitting a regular navigation light output; and an orientation lighting assembly for emitting an orientation light output. The aircraft tail navigation light is switchable between emitting the regular navigation light output having a navigation light intensity and emitting the orientation light output having an orientation light intensity, with the navigation light intensity being larger than the orientation light intensity
Method for resolution-optimized control of lighting module for motor vehicle light
Method for resolution-optimized control of a light module (1) for a motor vehicle light (10), wherein the light module (1) is designed to emit segmented light distribution with individually controllable light segments (51), wherein the light module (1) comprises a deflection unit (4), with which a native resolution of the light module (1) can be visually increased by at least temporary beam deflection by means of the deflection unit (4), wherein the light module is controlled in such a way that in a first time range (T1), a first low-resolution image (A) is emitted by the light module (1), wherein in the first time range (T1), the first low-resolution image (A) is recurrently deflected by means of the deflection unit (4) in such a way that the first low-resolution image (A) is at least partially visually superimposed on itself in the first time range (T1).
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp that reflects or obstructs light using a film filled with metal flakes, thereby emitting light in a preset pattern includes a light source that emits light, a main film disposed in a light emission path of the light source, and a magnetic field generating unit that generates a magnetic field that influences the main film. The main film includes a functional layer that selectively transmits the light depending on the magnetic field.
