Dental light using LEDs
A dental light comprises at least one light emitting diode light source configured to produce a light beam and at least one collimating lens system situated to receive the light beam. The collimating lens system is configured to collect and collimate the light beam. The collimating lens system can additionally modify the beam through controlled diffusion or shape the beam using an aperture.

The present invention relates to a vehicle turn indicator luminous device (1) comprising: an optical element (10) having a controlled caustic generator surface (12) so as to propagate a pattern over a usable range, a mounting part (2) on which is intended to be mounted a beam generator (3) of rays incident on said generator surface,
the optical element being such that the propagated pattern is projected onto a target surface, visible from the exterior of the lighting device and situated in the usable range.
ILLUMINATION DEVICE
Provided is an illumination device capable of displaying a predetermined design (for example, a logo mark) without using a design film. An illumination device 1 is intended for displaying a predetermined design, and includes: an LED 3; a condenser lens 4 that forms a secondary light source using light emitted from the LED 3; an emission surface 5b from which the secondary light source is emitted; and an optical lens 7 on which the emitted secondary light source is made incident and which has a focal point on the secondary light source. At least one three-dimensional shape of a convex part corresponding to the design and a concave part corresponding to the design is formed on the emission surface 5b.
LUMINAIRES AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
In one aspect, a lens comprises a light receiving side comprising grooves for receiving light emitting diodes, the grooves defined by refractive walls. The lens also comprises a light extraction side opposite the light receiving side, the light extraction side comprising refractive extraction surfaces diverging light from a central axis of the lens. In some embodiments, the refractive walls of the grooves work in conjunction with the refractive extraction surfaces to diverge light from the central axis of the lens. In some embodiments, luminaire comprises an array of light emitting diodes; and the lens positioned over the array of light emitting diodes.

A lighting apparatus includes a housing. The housing have a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a first curving angle, and the second portion has a second curving angle. The first curving angle has a larger diameter than the second curving angle. A light passing cover has a main section and a frame section. The main section has more light passing than the frame section. The frame section is connected to the housing. A light source assemblage is for emitting light through the light passing cover. A driving module is for transmitting a driving current to the light source assemblage for emitting light. A wing structure is attached to a side edge of the housing, and the wing structure has a heat dissipation device for passing a heat out of the housing.

A structured light generator includes a light source configured to emit light, and a first meta optical device including a first metasurface including nanostructures having sub-wavelength dimensions that are less than a wavelength of the light emitted from the light source, the first metasurface being configured to form a distribution of light rays from the light emitted from the light source to thereby radiate structured light.
Illumination device for image capturing
An illumination device configured to illuminate an imaging target, an image of which is to be captured by a camera, provided with a current adjusting device configured to adjust a current flowing through the LEDs of four LED-mounted boards on which many of the LEDs are mounted, wherein the four LED-mounted boards are arranged in a four-sided shape centered around the light axis of the camera as viewed from the imaging target, and each of the LED-mounted boards is inclined at a specified angle so that the LEDs of the LED-mounted boards face the imaging target. The current adjusting device is configured to divide an LED-mounted area of each of the LED-mounted boards into multiple illumination areas and to individually adjust the current flowing to the LEDs of each of the LED-mounted boards for each of the multiple illumination areas.
