The filter regions of the plurality of filter regions are optically coupled to and fixedly mounted relative to the array of LED emitters. Each filter region of the plurality of filter regions is aligned with an associated LED of the array of LED emitters and is configured to filter substantially only light emitted by the associated LED.
High intensity light-emitting diode luminaire assembly
A lighting assembly that includes a heatsink housing, a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) modules, and a power supply disposed within a power supply casing, wherein the power supply is for providing power to the LED modules. Each LED module includes a plurality of LEDs and is thermally connected to the heatsink housing. The power supply casing includes a structure for cooling the power supply.
Light control system with cube-shaped, two-dimensional tunable prisms
A light control system includes a housing, a controllable power source, a light source, and a plurality of cube-shaped tunable prisms. The controllable power source supplies at least four variable voltages. The light source is operable to emit a light beam. The cube-shaped tunable prisms are arranged in a manner so there are no gaps between adjacent tunable prisms. Each tunable prism receives a portion of the emitted light beam, each has a tunable deflection angle that is variable in two dimensions, and each is configured to optically steer the emitted light beam in the two dimensions based on the tunable deflection angle. Each tunable prism is further coupled to receive the four variable voltages. Each tunable prism comprises a liquid that varies the tunable deflection angle in two dimensions in response to the four variable voltages supplied thereto, to thereby deflect the light beam.
Light Emitting Device with Adaptable Glare Class
A light emitting device comprising: a carrier; a plurality of light sources disposed thereon; a plurality of lenses disposed on the carrier covering the light sources, a light shielding structure comprising reflective barriers having an outer surface and a first reflective inner surface; wherein a light transmitting material extends between the outer surface and the first reflective inner surface, said outer surface being oriented such that part of light rays emitted by a first light source of the plurality of light sources is transmitted through a first lens of the plurality of lenses and through a first portion of said outer surface in the direction f the first reflective inner surface. The first reflective inner surface is configured for reflecting the light rays in the direction of a second portion of said outer surface being located further away from a base portion of the first lens than the first portion.
LIGHT SOURCE SYSTEM FOR HORTICULTURE APPLICATIONS
A horticultural lighting fixture including a light bar including a plurality of solid state light sources arranged in a linear array along a longitudinal axis of the light bar; and a light bar support structure that couples with the light bar to support the light bar in a fixed spaced relationship with the light support structure, the light bar support structure including at least two fasteners at opposing terminal ends of the light bar support structure to attach to a vertical support.
Illumination apparatus
An illumination apparatus comprises a plurality of LEDs aligned to an array of directional optical elements wherein the LEDs are substantially at the input aperture of respective optical elements. An electrode array is formed on the array of optical elements to provide at least a first electrical connection to the array of LED elements. Advantageously such an arrangement provides low cost and high efficiency from the directional LED array.

A housing has a plurality of mounting locations configured to respectively align a plurality of light sources configured to illuminate the functional marking or the functional surface, or both, in a lit mode. A controller is configured to individually control each of the plurality of light sources for providing different illumination patterns of the functional marking and the functional surface such that such that automotive functional lighting and non-automotive functional lighting is provided.
Color mixing optics for LED illumination device
Illumination devices with improved color mixing optics are disclosed herein for mixing the colors produced by a multi-colored LED emitter module to produce uniform color throughout the entire beam angle of the output light beam, along with smoother edges and improved center beam intensity. Embodiments disclosed herein include a unique arrangement of multi-color LEDs within an emitter module, a unique exit lens with different patterns of lenslets on opposing sides of the lens, and other associated optical features that thoroughly mix the different color components, and as such, provide uniform color across the output beam exiting the illumination device. Additional embodiments disclosed herein include a unique arrangement of photodetectors within the primary optics structure of the LED emitter module that ensure the optical feedback system properly measures the light produced by all similarly colored emission LEDs.
