Nail lamp

A nail lamp is configured to cure light-curable nail product on a user's nails. The lamp includes an array of discrete light sources. A nail treatment space is disposed beneath the array and is sized to accommodate therein at least one nail of a user so as to expose the user's at least one nail to light from the array. The nail lamp includes a number of features to improve the uniformity of exposure of the at least one user nail to light relative to existing lamps. These features include one or more angled surfaces and light reflectors.

A portable linear worklight for converting point light into a linear light source is disclosed. The portable linear worklight comprises a worklight body and a lens. A transparent light pipe is positioned between an upper reflector and a lower reflector inside the worklight body. The lower reflector holds the light pipe and reflects light back into the light pipe. A light emitting diode in a battery housing emits light into a light receiving end of the light pipe. The received light travels trough the light pipe and is emitted from a light emitting surface of the light pipe. The upper reflector reflects some of the light emitted from the light emitting surface and directs the light toward the lens and the light exits the worklight body.

A flexible reflector extends between the first and second support structure. The reflector has at least one diffusedly reflective surface. The reflector is configurable to an operational configuration with the diffusedly reflective surface positioned to receive the light redirected by the first and second longitudinal lenses. The reflector is configurable to a transportable configuration with at least a portion of the reflector wrapped around at least one of the first and second support structures.

A secondary light source with a light emitter emits light substantially perpendicular to the axis to illuminate an indicia located in a side region of the illumination assembly. During operation of the portable lighting device, the components of the illumination assembly are arranged such that: (i) the primary light source does not illuminate the indicia, (ii) the secondary light source does not emit light through the lens, (iii) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the primary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the secondary light source within the portable lighting device, and (iv) an appreciable amount of light emitted from the secondary light source does not mix with light that is emitted from the primary light source within the portable lighting device.
