Lighting systems generating partially-collimated light emissions
Lighting system including bowl reflector, visible-light source, central reflector, and optically-transparent body. Bowl reflector has central axis, and rim defining emission aperture, and first visible-light-reflective surface defining portion of cavity in bowl reflector. First visible-light-reflective surface includes parabolic surface. Visible-light source is located in cavity and configured for generating visible-light emissions from semiconductor light-emitting device. Central reflector includes second visible-light-reflective surface, having convex flared funnel shape and having first peak facing toward visible-light source. Optically-transparent body has first base being spaced apart from second base and having side wall extending between first and second bases. Concave flared funnel-shaped surface of second base faces toward convex flared funnel-shaped second visible-light reflective surface of central reflector. First base includes central region having convex paraboloidal-shaped surface and second peak facing toward visible-light source.
Illumination devices
An illumination device (e.g., an electric candle, etc.) generally includes a shell, a housing coupled to the shell, a flame-shaped head disposed at least partially outside of the shell, and a pendulum supporting the flame-shaped head. The pendulum is pivotally coupled to the housing and configured to move the flame-shaped head relative to the housing. The illumination device also includes a first light source configured to illuminate the flame-shaped head, a second light source arranged inside the shell and configured to illuminate the shell, and a printed circuit board assembly operable to control the first light source to illuminate the flame-shaped head and the second light source to illuminate the shell.

Combination LED lighting and fan apparatus
A combination axial fan and LED lighting system configured to fit into the footprint of a standard ceiling tile. The system includes a housing container and an axial fan. The fan has a fan cavity including air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting and fan components. The invention includes an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture.
DISPLAY EQUIPMENT, VEHICLE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR MEMBER, ILLUMINATING LAMP, DISPLAY SIGN, AND VEHICLE
According to the present invention, there is provided a display apparatus (D) having a colored light-transmitting base material (10), a black light-transmitting member (56) containing a black colorant, and a light source unit (40), in which the light source unit (40) is disposed such that emission light of a light source is transmitted through the colored light-transmitting base material (10) and the black light-transmitting member (56) in this order, a total light transmittance (T) of a layer obtained by combining a layer of the colored light-transmitting base material (10) and a layer of the black light-transmitting member (56) is 13% or less, and the black light-transmitting member (56) has an L* value of 45 or less. The display apparatus (D) has excellent designability and high luminance.
Aquarium system with controlable light and methods
An aquarium system includes an aquarium tank arrangement and a light source. The light source has a controllable output of colored light projecting into the aquarium tank arrangement. The light source can provide a cycle of projecting light of at least two different colors.

Modular LED imaging projector and optical systems
The disclosure relates to modular LED imaging projector and optical systems and apparatuses. A light-emitting diode (LED) engine module emits a light beam that is homogenized and focused through a predetermined focal point. The LED engine module is detachably attached to a posterior connection point of a base body assembly. A collimating lens within the base body assembly refocuses the light beam to reduce divergence.
STRETCHABLE SHEET-FORM ELECTRONIC DISPLAYS
A stretchable sheet-form electronic display having a generally rectangular shape with four edges, a thickness of less than 1.5 mm, and a longer dimension of at least 100 mm. The stretchable sheet-form electronic display includes an elastic substrate sheet comprising a thin layer of an optically transmissive material having a relatively high elastic range, a grid of flexible connecting members and a two-dimensional array of at least 100,000 digitally addressable solid-state light emitting devices such as micro OLEDs or LEDs. At least some of the solid-state light emitting devices may be arranged into light emitting clusters and directly or indirectly mounted to a plurality of support pads. The solid-state light emitting devices within the clusters may be configured for emitting light in different colors such as blue, red, and green.
