Portable lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus has an upper hub, a base, a lower hub, and a pair of illumination devices that are pivotably supported at the upper hub, with each illumination device being pivotable up and down towards each other, as well as being rotatable. A telescoping shaft assembly has an inner shaft and an outer shaft, with the inner shaft telescopically received inside the outer shaft, the inner shaft having an upper end that is secured to the upper hub, and the outer shaft having a lower end that is secured to the base. A plurality of legs are connected to the lower hub and the base for pivoting motion therebetween.
INLINE DRIVER MODULE FOR SSL LIGHTING
An inline driver module includes an input connector, the input connector comprising a live contact and a neutral contact, the live contact configured to connect to a live line of an AC power socket, the neutral contact configured to connect to a neutral line of the AC power socket; an output connector, the output connector comprising a positive contact and a negative contact; and a driver module, the driver module disposed between the input connector and the output connector, the driver module comprising a driver housing and a driver PCB, a driver housing cavity defined within the driver housing, the driver PCB disposed within the driver housing cavity, the driver PCB connected in electrical communication with the live contact, the neutral contact, the positive contact, and the negative contact, the driver PCB configured to convert an AC power input from the AC power socket to a DC power output.
LAMP ASSEMBLY WITH UNIVERSAL BASE
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a lamp assembly that may have a base unit that includes a base, a power supply housing, a power supply, and a power supply cover. The base unit may be operable to detachably engage a lamp unit to form a functional lighting device. Furthermore, the base unit may be operable to be interchanged with a plurality of lamp units.
Hinged Channel System for Linear Lighting
A channel system that includes a first channel section, a second channel section, and a hinge joint between the first and second channel sections is disclosed. The hinge joint allows the first channel section to fold against the second channel section for storage and shipping of the channel system. In one embodiment, the hinge joint itself includes a hinge member that extends between the two channel sections and bends hingedly to allow movement and two intermediate endcaps, which cap the channel sections on either side of the hinge joint. The hinge joint may be designed to “snap back” to a fully extended position. Mechanical securement structure may be added to the first channel section and the second channel section to improve force and retention during the “snap back” movement.
Foldable light fixture for indoor horticulture
A light fixture for indoor growing of horticulture products includes oppositely arranged first and second support rails with light bars extending therebetween, a power driver disposed at an interior of the one of the support rails and coupled with the light bars to diver power thereto, and a rotation element which allows the light fixture to pivot between an extended position in which the first and second support rails each extend linearly and are arranged parallel to one another, and a folded position in which a first side of the light fixture is arranged atop a second side of the light fixture and first portions of the support rails contact and lie flat against opposite second portions of the support rails.
Retractable light string inside an ornament device
An ornament device for storing and deploying ornamental lights is formed as a shell or housing. The shell or housing stores and provides for deploying a string of ornament lights. The sting of ornamental lights is formed with an electrical wire interconnecting a plurality of ornamental lights interspaced along the wire that is connected on opposing wire ends to a male connector and a female connector. A retractable winding mechanism is arranged within the shell or housing for winding and maintaining the string of lights to a storage state and, for unwinding the string of lights to a deployment state.
Edge lit fixture
An edge lit fixture. A light engine comprises a compartment and at least one elongated lens that are attachable to a mount plate. The mount plate, an exterior surface of the compartment, and the lens define an internal optical cavity. A light strip is mounted to the mount plate within the optical cavity. One or more legs can be used to attach the fixture to an external surface, such as a ceiling T-grid. The light engine can be used with legs of varying size such that it can fit within ceiling openings having different dimensions. The assembled fixture defines an open area. One or more light engines are arranged around or through the open area such that light is emitted into the open area. The open area of the fixture allows for existing materials, such as a ceiling tile, for example, to function as a back side reflector panel.
FLEXIBLE SOLID-STATE ILLUMINATION DEVICES
A flexible illumination panel having a layered sheet-form configuration and including a bottom flexible sheet of a rigid material, a top flexible sheet formed by an optically transmissive, elastic material, and a two-dimensional array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted to the bottom flexible sheet and encapsulated between the top and bottom flexible sheets. The LEDs may further include rigid substrates (submounts) attached to the bottom flexible sheet.
STAND LIGHT
A portable light including an elongate body having a hollow frame and a longitudinal axis extending through the hollow frame, and an extension pole slidably received within the hollow frame. The extension pole is movable between an extended position, in which the extension pole is at least partially positioned out of the elongate body, and a retracted position, in which the extension pole is at least partially positioned in the elongate body. The portable light further includes a light assembly coupled to an end of the extension pole. The light assembly includes a base, a center column coupled to the base, and a plurality of light heads disposed around the center column, where each of the plurality of light heads are independently pivotable relative to the center column about a light axis that is perpendicular to and offset from the longitudinal axis. The portable light further includes a collar positioned around a portion of the elongate body and a plurality of legs pivotably coupled to the collar. The light heads are pivotable about the light axes from a default position, in which the light heads surround the center column and emit light in the same direction, to a deployed position, in which the light heads emit light in different directions. The light heads are equally spaced circumferentially about the longitudinal axis by approximately 120 degrees.
Deployable lighting system with device support
A deployable lighting system with device support adapted to allow a user to deploy lighting that may be used while recording or live-streaming video. The device support may be mounted upon a tripod, or other support, or may be self-supporting. The device support is adapted to support an electronic device, such as a cellular telephone, with a device clip. A deployable lighting system may be deployed which deploys from a compact, stowed, configuration to a deployed configuration in which a plurality of lights may surround the device clip. The deployable lighting system may take the shape of a ring light or a star light, such that a user doing self-video is well lit. The lighting system may allow for warmer or cooler tones to be selected from the lighting system.
