Frame and lens upgrade kits for lighting fixtures
Frame and lens upgrade kits for lighting fixtures. A frame bracket defines the frame area, which can be rectangular, for example. A lens frame fits just inside the frame bracket with the lens frame being releasably attached thereto. The frame bracket can be constructed from collapsible frame bracket subassemblies. For example, a rectangular frame bracket may be assembled from first and second collapsible frame bracket subassemblies that fan out and lock together to create a rigid frame bracket. The subassemblies each comprise elongated side and edge brackets that are fastened together such that they can pivot about one another. In some embodiments, one side of the lens frame is attached to a corresponding side of the frame bracket with a rotatable clip that allows the lens frame to swing such that its other side can attach to the bracket frame with an attachment latch, which can be magnetic, for example.
Restricted swivel knuckle design to avoid twisting of wires
A light fixture comprising, a housing having a base, a support arm, an opening opposite the base with a lens disposed in the opening, and a light source disposed within the housing; and an anchor portion having a fastening end and a cylindrical projection with a tooth on a surface of the cylindrical projection, and a central axis extending through the anchor portion into the support arm; and a spherical joint comprising an inner channel extending less than 360 degrees around the inner surface of the spherical joint; and a sealing grommet. The light fixture is configured to enable relative longitudinal motion between the spherical joint and the support arm and configured to prevent rotational motion therebetween.

Concealed connection system for luminaires
A connection system accommodates small aperture fixtures and provides ample room for electrical connections and a cosmetically superior seam. The connection system may consist of two mating brackets for the concealed joining of segments of light fixtures. The joiner design is completely integral to a fixture, with no externally visible hardware and no additional visual seams. Due to the sweeping nature of the joining action, internal fixture components do not need to be removed in order for correct joining to occur. Additionally this design requires that no components are removed from the fixture prior to joining, significantly reducing the time and effort that goes into joining fixtures in runs.

Magnetic row mounting system for luminaires
A magnetic row mounting system includes a magnet holding bracket that is configured to be removably coupled to an end plate of a luminaire. The magnet holding bracket includes a body that has a first surface and an opposite second surface. Further the body includes a plurality of magnet housing cavities that are configured to house magnets therein. Furthermore, the body of the magnet holding bracket includes an alignment cavity that is configured to receive an orientation tab of the end plate therein to removably couple the magnet holding bracket to the end plate in only one direction. Alternatively, the magnetic row mounting system includes both the end plate of the luminaire and the magnet holding bracket that is configured to be removably coupled to the end plate.
LED Devices for Offset Wide Beam Generation
A light source is combined with an optic and a reflector. Light incident onto to the reflector is reflected with a single reflection. The reflector occupies a portion of a solid angle around the light source to the exclusion of the optic at least with respect to any optical function. The reflector directly receives a second portion of light. The optic occupies substantially all of the remaining portion of the predetermined solid angle to directly receive a first portion of light from the light source. A reflected beam from the reflector is reflected into a predetermined reflection pattern. The inner and/or outer surface of the optic is shaped to refract or direct light which is directly transmitted into the optic from the light source from a first portion of light and/or reflected into the optic from the reflector from the reflected beam into a predetermined beam.
LUMINAIRE FOR INDUCTIVE LIGHTING SYSTEM
A luminaire for an inductive power transfer lighting system includes a luminaire body having a base and a hinged lid. A seal has a first sealing surface mounted in the base and a second sealing surface mounted in the lid. The first sealing surface includes a first power cable receiving channel running from one side of the base to an opposite side. The second sealing surface includes a corresponding second power cable receiving channel. When clamped together by clamping means the lid and base are sealed together and the power cable receiving channels co-operate to form a bore for holding a power cable. At least one of the sealing surfaces includes at least one groove transverse to the direction of the bore.

Snap in retrofit panel
A retrofit lighting fixture for retrofitting a pre-existing lighting fixture. The pre-existing lighting fixture includes electrical wiring and a troffer having a recessed center portion and an outer perimeter edge, which together form a hollow inner cavity, the electrical wiring extending into the cavity. The retrofit lighting fixture includes a lighting panel, a spring and a magnet. The lighting panel has light sources and electrical wiring. The lighting panel electrical wiring is connected to the electrical wiring of the pre-existing lighting. The spring has a first end connected to the lighting panel and a second end connected to the magnet. The magnet is attached to the recessed center portion of the troffer, and the spring is configured to pull the lighting panel against the outer perimeter edge of the troffer. In some applications the retrofit lighting fixture is a LED lighting fixture.
