Architectural linear luminaire
A luminaire for architectural, industrial and warehouse applications can be assembled using an extruded housing having curved sides connected by a cross member. Windows in the curved sides can allow light to exit toward the sides of the luminaire while most of the light exits through a lens on the bottom. The extrusion can have channels and slots such that optical elements and an LED array can be slid into the housing and retained by end caps. A housing cover can overlie a wireway while being held in place by screws creating a clamping force between the housing cover and fixture brackets retained within the housing. The luminaire can be suspended by the fixture brackets or by elements attached to the fixture brackets.

ACCESSORIES FOR LED LAMP SYSTEMS
Accessories for LED lamp systems and methods of attaching accessories to illumination sources (e.g., LED lamps) are disclosed. A beam shaping accessories mechanically affixed to the LED lamp. The lens is designed to adapt to a first fixture that is mechanically attached to the lens. Accessories are designed to have a second fixture for mating to the first fixture such that the first fixture and the second fixture are configured to produce a retaining force between the first accessory and the lens. The retaining force is a mechanical force that is accomplished by mechanical mating of mechanical fixtures, or the retaining force is a magnetic force and is accomplished by magnetic fixtures configured to have attracting magnetic forces. In some embodiments, the accessory is treated to modulate an emanated light pattern (e.g., a rectangular, or square, or oval, or circular or diffused emanated light pattern). A USB connector is also provided.
REDUCING THERMAL SENSITIVITY OF A LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a lighting arrangement with at least one LED lighting element (15) arranged on a support member (12). An optical element (16) is arranged spaced from the LED lighting element (15) in a first direction O. A holder (14) is provided to hold the optical element (16) in a position relative to the LED lighting element (15). The holder (14) comprises at least a first holding portion (24a) extending from the support member (12) into the first direction O and a second holding portion (24b) connected to the optical element (16). The second holding portion (24b) is arranged such that at least a part extends into the first direction O. The second holding portion (26b) is spaced from the first holding portion (24a) in a direction traverse to the first direction O. In the case of distortions due to temperature changes and a mismatch of the coefficient of thermal expansion, the lighting arrangement minimizes variations in the displacement of the optical element (16) relative to the LED lighting element (15).
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a light assembly including a housing and a lens secured to the housing. The lens cooperates with the housing to define an interior region therebetween. The light assembly also includes a first light module disposed in the interior region. The first light module is selectively operable to emit light that is transmitted through the lens. The light assembly further includes a second light module formed of a material having embedded light diffusing particles and operative to be selectively operable to emit light that is transmitted through the lens to create a broad viewing angle. At least a portion of the second light module is integrated into the lens.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a light assembly including a housing and a lens secured to the housing. The lens cooperates with the housing to define an interior region therebetween. Hot Melt Composition
The present technology provides a hot melt composition containing: styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer having a weight average molecular weight of 300000 or more; tackifier; a first paraffin oil having a weight average molecular weight of 1000 or more; and a second paraffin oil having a weight average molecular weight of less than 1000.
Electric lighting system with removably couplable power device
An example electric lighting system includes a lighting device that includes a housing including a lighting element and a power device holding portion. The power device holding portion includes a cavity. The cavity includes a first and a second electrical contact disposed within the cavity. The power device includes a third and a fourth electrical contact. The power device includes a coupling component. The coupling component is removably couplable to the power device holding portion such that an electrical communication is established when the power device is inserted into the cavity at any rotational position relative to the lighting device about a shared central axis. The power device is operable to power the lighting device through the electrical communication. The electrical communication is established between the first electrical contact and the third electrical contact and between the second electrical contact and the fourth electrical contact.
LED lighting fixture with interconnect
An assembly includes first and second light emitting diode (LED) lighting fixtures. Each LED lighting fixture includes an enclosure, a heat sink disposed in the enclosure, a LED array mounted on the heat sink, and a connector attached to a first end of the enclosure. The connector of the first LED lighting fixture is a male connector, and the connector of the second LED lighting fixture is a female connector. The male connector is configured to directly mate with the female connector without the use of tools.
