The housing is installed from the second end of the illuminating body, the housing sheaths a periphery of the isolation fixing column and a periphery of first end of the illuminating body close to the wires, the second end of the illuminating body is exposed from the housing, the inner wall of the housing abuts against the outer wall of the illuminating body, and the wires are clamped between the isolation fixing column and the inner wall.
Retrofit LED Lighting System for Replacement of Fluorescent Lamp
A retrofit light emitting diode (LED) lamp is provided for replacement of ballast driven fluorescent lamps. The retrofit LED lamp comprises a plurality of light emitting diodes. The plurality of light emitting diodes is mounted on a metal core printed circuit board (MCPCB). A PCB circuit is provided for driving the plurality of LEDs that further comprises a bridge rectifier made of a schottky diode.
Illumination Devices
An illumination device (e.g., an electric candle, etc.) generally includes a housing, a light source, and a pendulum supporting the light source. The pendulum is pivotally coupled to the housing and is configured to move the light source relative to the housing. The illumination device also includes a control unit for providing power to the illumination device and for controlling operation of the light source, and at least one wire electrically connecting the light source to the control unit. The at least one wire has a diameter of about 0.5 millimeters or less to avoid impact of the wire to the pivotal movement of the pendulum.
SURGE PROTECTED LUMINAIRE
A luminaire (10) is disclosed comprising a housing (20) having a metal section (21) and incorporating an electrical component arrangement including a printed circuit board (40) having a first major surface carrying at least one light engine and a second major surface opposite the first major surface; a heatsink (30) exposed within said metal section, the heatsink having a further major surface facing the second major surface; an electrically insulating layer (50) in between the further major surface and the second major surface and having a margin (51) extending beyond each of the second major surface and the further major surface by a minimum width (W), said margin being separated from the metal section by an air gap having a minimum height (H);; and at least one electrically insulating fixing arrangement (90, 100, 110) extending through the printed circuit board and the electrically insulating layer securing the printed circuit board to the metal section.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus comprises: a board, a plurality of light-emitting units disposed on the board, and a package structure enclosing all of the light-emitting units and having a volume less than 5000 mm.sup.3. The lighting apparatus has a light intensity greater than 150 lumens.
Light clip
Technologies are described for devices to secure a light fixture including a light source and electronics to a structure. The devices may comprise a curved first end. First walls of the first end may define a first opening. The devices may comprise first tabs that project from second walls of the first end. The first tabs and the second walls may define first and second protrusion openings. The second walls and first tabs may secure protrusions of the light fixture within the first and second protrusion openings. The devices may comprise a second end that includes end tabs attached to the second walls and angled ends extending from the end tabs. The end tabs and the angled ends may define a second opening. The second opening of the device may expand further open when the angled ends are pressed against the structure to secure to the device to the structure.
Illumination devices
An illumination device (e.g., an electric candle, etc.) generally includes a housing, a light source, and color element. The color element is positioned over at least part of the light source for creating a color effect in the electric candle when the light source transmits light through the color element. The illumination device may also include a pendulum supporting the light source, and a support member configured to support pivotal movement of the pendulum and light source relative to the housing.
LAMP DEVICE WITH CHANGEABLE LAMP SOCKET
A lamp device with changeable lamp socket includes a light tube, a light source plate received in the light tube, and two lamp sockets locked with two ends of the light tube. The lamp socket includes a first tubular body, a first covering plate, and two conductive plugs. The lamp device further includes two adapter covers detachably locked on the lamp sockets. Each adapter cover includes a second tubular body, a second covering plate, and a conductive component. For each of the lamp sockets and the corresponding adapter cover, the conductive plugs are inserted into insertion holes of the second covering plate, and the conductive component is electrically connected to the conductive plugs, passes through an opening of the second covering plate, and exposed from the second covering plate.
Retention system for light source lamps in recessed luminaires
A retention system for holding a light source lamp in a recessed luminaire includes a retention spring portion that is pivotally coupled to a light source holding bracket of the recessed luminaire. The light source holding bracket is configured to house a light source lamp therein. Further, the retention system includes a retention arm portion that extends from and is formed integral with the retention spring portion. The retention spring portion forces the retention arm portion towards the light source holding bracket such that the retention arm portion engages and applies an active load on the light source lamp that is disposed in the light source holding bracket to securely retain the light source lamp within the recessed luminaire.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN AUTOMOTIVE LUMINOUS DEVICE
A method for manufacturing an automotive luminous device. This method comprises some steps. A first step comprises providing a housing with a hollow protrusion. A second step comprises providing an auxiliary element in the hollow protrusion. A third step comprises providing a connector receptacle in connection with the auxiliary element. A fourth step comprises inserting a matching connector in the connector receptacle in a detachable way, the matching connector further comprising guiding means. A fifth step comprises placing a luminous module comprising a module connector, the module connector being helped by the guiding means to be connected to the matching connector, thus achieving an electric connection between the module connector and the matching connector. A final step comprises moving the connector receptacle so that the matching connector exits from the connector receptacle.
