Provided herein are embodiments of a banner assembly, for example, a banner assembly having a light-emitting diode (LED) light network arranged in a pattern of a national flag thereby illuminating the national flag for display. The banner assembly herein comprises an LED light network having LED lights arranged in a pattern of a national flag, and a plurality of detachable rods attached to the LED light network by one or more connector.

Assemblies, systems and methods for balanced suspension of luminaires are provided. In some embodiments a luminaire mounting and suspension assembly is provided comprising a mounting unit and a plurality of suspension units. Each suspension unit comprises a housing coupled to the mounting unit and a yoke pivotally coupled to the housing at a pivot point. The yoke comprises a pair of cable grippers, each cable gripper positioned on opposing sides of the pivot point and configured to grip a suspension cable for suspending a luminaire, wherein an axis of the pivot point is perpendicular to axes of the suspension cables and whereby free rotation of the yoke about the pivot point evenly balances tension between the suspension cables. In some embodiments a luminaire system is provided comprising a mounting and suspension assembly and a luminaire suspended by the assembly. In some embodiments a method of suspending a luminaire is provided comprising providing and suspending a luminaire system and employing the system to evenly balance tension between pairs of suspension cables.

A lighting assembly includes a hollow post module, a lighting module, and a control module. The control module includes a casing, a circuit board, a processor, and a capacitive proximity sensor module. The casing has a casing body and a casing cover to define a receiving space. The casing cover has an outer contact surface exposed from the post module and an inner contact surface. The circuit board is elongated along a lengthwise direction of the hollow post module in the receiving space and perpendicular to the inner contact surface. The processor is connected to the lighting module. The capacitive proximity sensor module connects the circuit board and processor and abut the inner contact surface.

A lighting assembly includes a hollow post module, a lighting module, and a control module. The control module includes a casing, a circuit board, a processor, and a capacitive proximity sensor module. The casing has a casing body and a casing cover to define a receiving space. The casing cover has an outer contact surface exposed from the post module and an inner contact surface. The circuit board is elongated along a lengthwise direction of the hollow post module in the receiving space and perpendicular to the inner contact surface. The processor is connected to the lighting module. The capacitive proximity sensor module connects the circuit board and processor and abut the inner contact surface.

A lighting apparatus including an enclosure, a printed circuit board mounted to the enclosure, and an upwardly directed primary light emitting diode in electrical communication with the printed circuit board. The lighting apparatus additionally includes a power source for supplying electrical power to the printed circuit board. The lighting apparatus further includes a transparent dome situated atop the enclosure and covering the printed circuit board, wherein the transparent dome includes an optically unobstructed region in vertical alignment with the primary light emitting diode for passage of an upwardly directed light beam emitted from the primary light emitting diode when powered.

A lighting apparatus including an enclosure, a printed circuit board mounted to the enclosure, and an upwardly directed primary light emitting diode in electrical communication with the printed circuit board. The lighting apparatus additionally includes a power source for supplying electrical power to the printed circuit board. The lighting apparatus further includes a transparent dome situated atop the enclosure and covering the printed circuit board, wherein the transparent dome includes an optically unobstructed region in vertical alignment with the primary light emitting diode for passage of an upwardly directed light beam emitted from the primary light emitting diode when powered.
