An automatic light intensity compensating device of a surgical light includes a suspension or support system and one or multiple light heads carried on the suspension or support system. Each of the light head includes a housing, one or multiple grips mounted to the housing for hand holding and moving the light head to a desired position, one or multiple light sources mounted in the housing for illumination, a focus adjustment mechanism for adjusting the focal length of illumination, a focusing detection mechanism for detecting a position of the focus adjustment mechanism within a variation range, and an automatic illuminance compensation device, which automatically increases or decreases luminance of the light source according to the position of the focus adjustment mechanism.

STAND LIGHT

A portable light including an elongate body having a hollow frame and a longitudinal axis extending through the hollow frame, and an extension pole slidably received within the hollow frame. The extension pole is movable between an extended position, in which the extension pole is at least partially positioned out of the elongate body, and a retracted position, in which the extension pole is at least partially positioned in the elongate body. The portable light further includes a light assembly coupled to an end of the extension pole. The light assembly includes a base, a center column coupled to the base, and a plurality of light heads disposed around the center column, where each of the plurality of light heads are independently pivotable relative to the center column about a light axis that is perpendicular to and offset from the longitudinal axis. The portable light further includes a collar positioned around a portion of the elongate body and a plurality of legs pivotably coupled to the collar. The light heads are pivotable about the light axes from a default position, in which the light heads surround the center column and emit light in the same direction, to a deployed position, in which the light heads emit light in different directions. The light heads are equally spaced circumferentially about the longitudinal axis by approximately 120 degrees.

Operating room lighting system

A flexible operating room lighting system may be coupled to a wall, ceiling, or fixture of a facility. The lighting system can modularly accommodate multiple illumination arms and incorporate one or more microphone thereon, permitting the vocal control using a processor for hands free operations. The lighting system may include a speaker and a camera to facilitate two-way communications with a user to facilitate demonstrations for individuals undergoing tutelage in the particular facility's profession. The lighting system may employ a stand with wheels to facilitate modularity. Further, a cover with a transparent front end may be provided to be slipped over the lighting system and securing through a cover fastener. By providing each illumination arm with a jack, the illumination arm may be modularly assigned, replaced, sanitized. Thus, the present invention provides reliable sanitary measures while further facilitating a flexible operable device through the illumination arms.

AREA LIGHT

An area light including a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a central axis extending between the first and second end, at least one handle that is mounted between the first and second end, a housing disposed adjacent to the first end, and a hook pivotably coupled to the housing and moveable between a stored position, in which the hook lies flat against the housing, and an active position, in which the hook extends away from the housing. The area light further includes a light assembly disposed between the housing and the second end, a battery receptacle that receives a battery along a path that is perpendicular to the central axis, and a diffuser surrounding the light assembly and coupled to the housing. The diffuser tapers circumferentially inward toward the central axis along a direction from the housing to the second end.

UTILITY MOUNT LIGHT

A utility light including a main body, a first light assembly coupled to the main body having a first light source disposed within a first light housing, and a second light assembly coupled to the main body having a second light source disposed within a second light housing. The first light housing and second light housing are both pivotable and rotatable relative to the main body. The utility light further includes a handle disposed above the first light assembly and the second light assembly. The handle includes a lower surface and an upper surface that collectively define a gripping portion. The utility light further includes a rechargeable battery supported by the main body and a power actuator disposed on the upper surface of the handle and capable of sending a signal to a processor to supply power to the first light assembly and the second light assembly.
