AMBIANCE LIGHTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention relates to an ambiance lighting system that uses more than one translucent panel. The translucent panels are aligned, absent occlusions along the surface, and interconnected or inserted into a luminary wrap. A light control panel comprises one or more light-emitting diodes (LED), a power source, and selectively a GPS, audio-video interface, and a communication interface. The light control panel is orientated to illuminate and project light through the translucent panel creating an ambiance lighting effect. A box spinner, box panels, post adapter, colored lens, accessory sleeves, ornamental accessories, and/or a retractable tether can be used with the ambiance lighting system. The GPS, audio-video interface, and communication interface can be used in geofencing and digital media streaming applications.
Stand light
A portable light including an elongate body having a first end and a second end, a plurality of extension poles slidably received in the elongate body, a light head pivotably coupled to an end of one of the plurality of extension poles, and a head assembly housing fixed to the first end of the elongate body. The portable light further includes a collar positioned around a portion of the elongate body, a movable handle coupled to the collar, and a plurality of legs pivotably coupled to the collar. Each leg includes a first end hingedly coupled to the collar. Each leg is also pivotally coupled to the second end of the elongate body by a leg link, wherein each leg link includes a pair of parallel members connected together by an offset portion, and wherein the offset portion extends perpendicularly from a longitudinal axis of the leg link.

UTILITY MOUNT LIGHT
A utility light mountable to a workpiece. The light includes a main body having a length extending between a first end and a second end, a light assembly, and a battery. The battery is removably coupled to the first end. The light further includes a first handle coupled to the second end and a second handle movably coupled to the first handle. The second handle is linearly extensible relative to first handle along a direction perpendicular to the length between a retracted position and an extended position. In the extended position, an opening is defined between the second handle and the main body. The opening is configured to receive the workpiece to support the utility light when the handle is in the extended position. The light assembly is disposed above the battery and below the first handle with respect to a direction along the length of the main body.
UTILITY MOUNT LIGHT
A battery-powered utility light mountable to a workpiece comprising a main body and a plurality of lights coupled to the main body. Each of the plurality of lights are independently movable relative to the main body. The utility light further includes a first mode actuator that is configured to cycle one of the plurality of lights through a plurality of lighting modes and a second mode actuator that is configured to cycle a different one of the plurality of lights through a plurality of lighting modes separately from the other plurality of lights. The utility light further includes a hooking element that is moveably coupled to the main body between an open position, in which the workpiece is permitted to be received in an opening, and a closed position, in which the workpiece is inhibited from being removed from the opening. The opening is disposed between the main body and the hooking element.
Lantern
An exemplary lantern comprising a signal member which serves as a safety feature to warn workers operating in a railyard of dangerous or potentially dangerous conditions. An exemplary lantern comprising a breakaway handle mechanism that allows the handle of the lantern to break away from the body of the lantern. An exemplary lantern may comprise a ratcheting mechanism that allows the handle to rotate relative to the body of the lantern, thereby allowing the lantern to be arranged on the ground in a variety of different positions.
Portable light having a movable head and/or a movable handle
A portable light may comprise: a light body for receiving a source of electrical power; a light source for producing light when energized; and a switch assembly for selectively coupling the source of electrical power with said light source for energizing the light source to produce light. The portable light may have a light head and a pivot assembly including a pivotable joint for pivoting the light head towards and away from the light body and a rotatable joint for rotating the light head relative to the light body; and/or may have a handle assembly coupled to the light body by a handle pivot so as to be pivotable away from and toward the light body. A releasable latch assembly that retains the handle housing adjacent the light body may be provided.

HAND HOLDABLE LIGHT HAVING AN ERGONOMIC GRIP AND A BATTERY ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
A hand holdable light comprises: a light body having a forward portion, and a central or second portion; a light source proximate a forward end; and one or more switch actuators for controlling the light source. A rearward portion may have a non-circular cross-section; the actuators is/are on the forward portion; and the central or second portion may have a recess opposite the actuator. The light is holdable by a hand in several ways wherein a finger or thumb is proximate an actuator. A battery assembly comprises: a battery housing for receiving and connecting a battery; an electrical switch on a first end of the battery housing; and a pattern of electrical contacts on a second end of the battery housing, wherein ones of the electrical contacts are connected to the battery.
UNDER CHASSIS LIGHT
A light assembly configured to be removably coupled to a ferromagnetic support surface includes a base with a magnetic coupling member, a battery coupled to the base, an arm pivotally coupled to the base, and a light head pivotally coupled to the arm such that a position of the light head relative to the base is adjustable. The light head includes a light-emitting element powered by the battery. The magnetic coupling member is configured to support the light assembly by magnetic attraction to the support surface.
