An LED tube lamp, comprising a lamp tube, which includes a light transmissive portion, a reinforcing portion and an end cap; an LED module, which includes an LED light source and an LED light strip; and a power supply module, which includes a set of N electronic components operably interconnected to drive the LED light source, wherein: the light transmissive portion is fixedly connected to the reinforcing portion; the reinforcing portion includes a platform and a bracing structure; the bracing structure is fixedly connected to the platform and holds the platform in place; the LED light source is thermally and electrically connected to the LED light strip, which is in turn thermally connected to the reinforcing portion; and the end cap is attached to an end of the lamp tube.

LED tube apparatus equipped to effectively dissipate heat in abnormal situations

An LED tube apparatus has a tube body with two opposite ends fixed to a first cap and a second cap. An LED module is placed in the tube body. The LED module has a driver circuit containing an electronic ballast that generates high frequency electric current. The first cap has two first metal pins to be inserted in a first socket end of a light tube bracket. The first metal pin clutches an end of a leading wire. The leading wire has a protective portion breaking off when the first metal pin is applied with a predetermined range of heat generated by the high frequency electric current when the LED tube apparatus is not operated properly.

Light from the downlight can be faced downward to project light or upward to reflect light off of the ceiling. The driver has an input with a first voltage and an output with a second voltage, the second voltage being lower than the first and being provided through a wire system extending from the LED driver. The IDC connects the downlight to the wire system. The lighting system can be changed from a first to a second configuration by at least one of adding an additional downlight using a corresponding IDC or removing an existing downlight using a corresponding IDC. The second configuration does not significantly affect a desired output range of light from any downlight or any LED circuit of any downlight that remains or preexists from the first configuration
