A waterproof socket-type halogen lamp for a livestock barn comprises a fixing body forming a hollow part, a side plate finishing the outside of the fixing body, a contact point, a wire, an annular insulator insulating the fixing body, a spring which is embedded in the hollow part and of which an outer side is supported by the side plate, an inner side supports the outer side of the annular insulator to provide restoration force while supporting one terminal of the tube halogen lamp through the contact point, and an inner waterproof packing which prevents moisture or dust from penetrating to the inner end of the fixing body and has a closed curve shape with a terminal passing groove through which a lamp terminal housing passes, and a tube halogen lamp in which lamp terminals at both ends are connected with the contact point by two socket parts.

LED module sealing technology

A sealing process of LED modules includes a waterproof wire put through a wire-through hole of a heat sink to be connected with a positive-negative solder joints on a PCB board, which are subjected to glue sealing treatment. A waterproof sealing process is operated between the waterproof wire and wire-through hole. The PCB board is fixed on the heat sink. One sealing ring is placed into a groove. A ring of liquid silica gel is evenly applied along the other groove. The heat sink installed with the PCB board and the waterproof wire are inversely buckled on the lens set which is fixed with the solid silica gel ring and liquid silica gel. At least two waterproof sealing rings are used to isolate an LED chip from the outside so as to prevent all water vapor or other harmful gases from corroding the chip and the PCB.

Said base features such configuration and characteristics as to provide, together with two retaining rings and a deformable core hitch, for a high degree of protection against penetration of solid bodies and liquids and for a high thermal dissipation towards the external environment.

Device for holding a source of light

An assembly includes a light source holding component sized and arranged to securely receive a source of light. The light source holding component may include a displaceable protective device that functions to generally protect against an accidental touching of electrical terminals of the light source holding component. An accessory mounting feature may also be provided to the light source holding component, The accessory mounting feature is adapted to cooperate with an accessory to provide a seal against a surface to which the light source holding component is attached. The light source holding component may have wire ports that are formed within an overall general outer diameter of the light source holding component. By way of example, the wire ports may include wire contacts having wires pre-attached thereto or the wire ports may include electrical connectors of the push-in type for receiving and thereupon holding wires inserted therein.

An auxiliary lighting system includes a housing assembly having a generally planar surface and a lighting unit. The lighting unit includes a lighting module having a printed circuit board and a plurality of light emitting diodes operatively connected to the printed circuit board and a cover assembly including a protective cover, a frame, and a gasket. The lighting unit is assembled such that fasteners connect the frame, the protective cover, and the planar surface of the housing assembly to hold the lighting module between the protective cover and the planar surface and hold the gasket between the protective cover and the planar surface.
