An LED control system is provided for connection to an LED lighting system via a power line to control the LED lighting system using commands formed by manipulation of frequency and amplitude of a signal transmitted over the power line. The signal may be for example a wave or a sequence of pulses. The signal may be provided in superposition with line power or the line power may be formed as the signal.

A lighting system having a LED downlight in a ceiling fixture can be attached to a ceiling by fixing hanger bars to ceiling rafters. The lighting system can then be completely covered by insulation. The insulation thereby lays directly on the downlight, junction box, and a cup passing mains power from the junction box to the downlight. The insulation does not enter the cup, downlight, or junction box. The lighting system does not ignite or melt the insulation in normal operation if the insulation meets residential and commercial safety standards. In normal operation the lighting system does not expose the lighting system to a temperature exceeding 90 degrees Celsius. A trim can be attached to the downlight to change its appearance and without rendering the lighting system unsafe.

An electrical cable assembly, comprising a first electrical circuit further comprising a first plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another, wherein the first plurality of insulated conductors are cabled together in a bundle. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a second electrical circuit longitudinally disposed to the first electrical circuit, the second electrical circuit comprising a second plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another and cabled together in a bundle and a nonmetallic jacket surrounding the second plurality of insulated conductors and wherein the nonmetallic jacket isolating the first electrical circuit from the second electrical circuit. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a flexible interlocking metallic armor encasing the first and second electrical circuits.

A watertight LED arrangement is provided that extends in a longitudinal direction (L). The arrangement includes a strip-shaped LED board (3) provided with a multiplicity of LEDs (2) on its upper side and at least one cable (4) electrically connected to the LED board (3). A one-piece, elastically formed watertight sheath (6) which surrounds the LED board (3) and defines a light emission wall (5) at least on its upper side opposite the LEDs (2) receives the LED board (3) in a form-fitting manner. The sheath bears directly against the underside of the LED board (3), and a cavity (7) extending in the longitudinal direction (L) is provided between the upper side of the LED board (3) and the light emission wall (5).

A waterproof lamp includes a housing having an inner cavity for receiving a lamp body, and at least one end forming a wiring opening for drawing out wiring; a wiring end cover is sealed on the wiring opening and can be threaded out; a first sealing member is formed between the wiring end cover and the interior surface of the housing and engages with the wiring end cover for the wire to pass through; the wiring end cover includes a fixed cover and a movable cover, the movable cover is detachably coupled to the outer side of the fixed cover; and a second sealing member is disposed between the movable cover and the fixed cover. The first sealing member of the waterproof lamp is filled with liquid and can be solidified to form a waterproof rubber layer sealed between the first sealing member and the inner wall of the housing.

A light system includes a first substrate and a second substrate having the first substrate thereon. A light emitting diode (LED) is connected to the first substrate. An encapsulation layer covers the LED and at least a majority of the first substrate.

A bracket 1 for attaching a light fitting to a ceiling or wall. The bracket 1 has a main body 2 to be directly applied to the ceiling or wall and to be flush with the ceiling or wall. The main body 2 has a central portion 3 with a central aperture 4 for the passage of the electrical cable 12 coming out from the ceiling or wall. The central aperture 4 being sized so that the electrical cable 12 can easily pass through it.

A bracket 1 for attaching a light fitting to a ceiling or wall. The bracket 1 has a main body 2 to be directly applied to the ceiling or wall and to be flush with the ceiling or wall. The main body 2 has a central portion 3 with a central aperture 4 for the passage of the electrical cable 12 coming out from the ceiling or wall. The central aperture 4 being sized so that the electrical cable 12 can easily pass through it.

In various embodiments, a light emitting diode (LED) tube lamp is provided along with a method of installing the LED tube lamp into a lighting fixture. In various embodiments, the LED tube lamp comprises: a tube; at least one LED positioned within the tube; and a passage formed through at least a portion of the tube, the passage configured to receive there-through a set of electrical connecting wires, wherein a first end of the electrical connecting wires comprises at least one of a two- or three-prong polarized plug. Various embodiments may further comprise a driver circuit positioned within the tube, the driver circuit comprising a second end of the electrical connecting wires. In various embodiments, the LED lamp tube may further comprise at least one end cap disposed on an end of the tube and at least one pin secured thereon wherein the pin is electrically isolated from the LED.

In various embodiments, a light emitting diode (LED) tube lamp is provided along with a method of installing the LED tube lamp into a lighting fixture. In various embodiments, the LED tube lamp comprises: a tube; at least one LED positioned within the tube; and a passage formed through at least a portion of the tube, the passage configured to receive there-through a set of electrical connecting wires, wherein a first end of the electrical connecting wires comprises at least one of a two- or three-prong polarized plug. Various embodiments may further comprise a driver circuit positioned within the tube, the driver circuit comprising a second end of the electrical connecting wires. In various embodiments, the LED lamp tube may further comprise at least one end cap disposed on an end of the tube and at least one pin secured thereon wherein the pin is electrically isolated from the LED.
