Lamp housing and operating lamp having a lamp housing
The invention relates to a lamp housing (1) for an operating lamp (2), in which lamp housing at least one illuminant (3) can be installed, said lamp housing comprising: a housing body (4); a closure element (5), which closes the housing body (4); and a bearing device (6) for fastening the lamp housing (1) to a supporting device (7). The lamp housing (1) has a support (8) formed separately from the housing body (4), by means of which support a force introduced via the closure element (5) and/or a weight force of the lamp housing (1) can be transferred to the bearing device (6). The invention further relates to an operating lamp (2) having a lamp housing (1), in which lamp housing an illuminant (3) is installed in a dust-tight manner.
Linear LED lamp tube with one or more electrically isolated pins
In various embodiments, a light emitting diode (LED) tube lamp is provided along with a method of installing the LED tube lamp into a lighting fixture. In various embodiments, the LED tube lamp comprises: a tube; at least one LED positioned within the tube; and a passage formed through at least a portion of the tube, the passage configured to receive there-through a set of electrical connecting wires, wherein a first end of the electrical connecting wires comprises at least one of a two- or three-prong polarized plug. Various embodiments may further comprise a driver circuit positioned within the tube, the driver circuit comprising a second end of the electrical connecting wires. In various embodiments, the LED lamp tube may further comprise at least one end cap disposed on an end of the tube and at least one pin secured thereon wherein the pin is electrically isolated from the LED.
Linear LED light source and manufacturing method
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a linear LED light source, comprising: providing a tubular glass envelope that is open at its proximal end and its distal end; inserting a light source mount assembly comprising one or more LED units into the tubular glass envelope; forming a distal hermetic seal at the distal end such that a distal opening remains at the distal end; forming a proximal hermetic seal at the proximal end such that a proximal opening remains at the proximal end; filling the tubular glass envelope with a gas filling; and sealing the distal and proximal openings to obtain a sealed lamp envelope; wherein a flow of coolant gas through the tubular glass envelope is maintained during the formation of the proximal hermetic seal and/or distal hermetic seal if the light source mount assembly is inserted before the formation of the respective hermetic seal.
LED luminaire
A luminaire has a first housing portion and a second housing portion formed of a polymeric material. A hinge pivotably connects the first housing portion to the second housing portion and includes a pintle formed as one-piece with one of the first and second housing portions and a knuckle formed as one-piece with the other one of the first and second housing portions. A sealing structure seals a compartment formed between the first housing portion and the second housing portion. The sealing structure includes a channel supported by one of the first and second housing portions and a frame supported in the channel. The frame supports a deformable gasket. A sealing member extends from the other one of the first and second housing portions where the sealing member extends into the channel and engages the gasket. A locking feature secures the first housing portion to the second housing portion.
Boat loaders for watercraft trailers
Various examples are provided related to boat loaders for trailers. In one example, a boat loader includes a primary tube extending between a first end and a second end and a light tube that can move within the primary tube. The light tube can include light elements extending along a portion of the light tube at a first end and a float attached to the light tube at a second end. The primary tube can be coupled to a trailer at the second end and the first end of the light tube can extend outward from the first end of the primary tube exposing the light elements as the primary tube is submerged in water and can retract into the primary tube as the primary tube is removed from the water.
RECESSED LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE LIGHTING FIXTURE
A recessed lighting fixture comprises a generally annular body having a central cavity in the form of a partially spherical socket. There is a lighting support member having a partially spherical exterior portion which is closely fitted within the partially spherical socket of the annular body. The lighting support member is pivotable relative to the annular body, but air flow between the partially spherical socket of the annular body and the partially spherical exterior portion of the lighting support member is substantially restricted. There may be a light source mounted to the lighting support member adj acent a bottom thereof. The light source may be a light-emitting diode.
