Disclosed herein is a luminaire apparatus having an air cleaner attached thereto, which is connected by wires and cables so as to be vertically movable. More particularly, the luminaire apparatus enables a luminaire and air cleaner, which are considerably heavy, installed on a ceiling to be safely moved vertically using wires in order to perform replacement of light bulbs, replacement of air cleaner filters, troubleshooting, or maintenance, and is usable through supply of power to the luminaire and the air cleaner at a desired height by installing the air cleaner capable of vertically moving together with the luminaire and by installing power cables capable of supplying power even when the luminaire and the air cleaner are moved up and down.

The present invention discloses a lamp having air purification and sterilization functions, comprising a cabinet, a light source mechanism fixedly mounted on the cabinet, a sterilization mechanism for purifying and sterilizing a fluid flow, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet disposed on the cabinet, a circulation mechanism for circulating the fluid flow from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, and a fluid flowing path extending from the fluid inlet, passing through the sterilization mechanism, and reaching the fluid outlet. The present invention utilizes the sterilization mechanism to sterilize bacteria and viruses suspending in the air, and ionizes the air to generate plasma according to a point discharge principle; the plasma can effectively inhibit the breeding of pathogenic bacteria in a public place; furthermore, the cabinet can be utilized to mount the lamp at the top of an indoor space, and the light source mechanism under the cabinet illuminates the space, thereby overcoming the defect that an air purifier or an ultraviolet sterilization lamp cannot be mounted due to the limited indoor space, and having the advantage of diversified use functions.

An apparatus and system utilized in a storm shelter to notify rescue personnel that a person is in the storm shelter and needs assistance to get out. The apparatus comprises a tubular member, a cap at the upper end of the tubular member, a mechanism at the upper end of the tubing to signal rescue personnel and a mechanism to move the tubular member upward. The signaling mechanism is a light source with apertures in the tubing to allow light to emanate outward, reflective material, florescent paint and/or an audible source. The moving mechanism comprises a threaded rod vertically supported by a base with a threaded nut that rotates on the rod to raise the tubular member or it comprises a lifting mechanism that raises the tubular member. The system has an opening in the upper wall of the shelter and a removable plug apparatus that plugs the opening.

The tracking system operable to track how long the second lamp has been activated and generate to-date usage information, the to-date usage information indicating a total amount of time the second lamp has been activated so far.

A multifunctional lamp includes a lighting device and a sterilization device. The lighting device includes a base, a lighting member configured to emit flame-like light; and a light-transmitting suspending chamber defined with a mounting opening. This configuration is especially useful in situations where the use of UV light is regulated, such as in a hospital setting.
