Air conditioner

An air conditioner that further provides a lighting function is provided. The air conditioner can increase space utilization of a ceiling by the lighting device being integrally installed in the indoor unit. In addition, heat generated at the lighting device can be radiated by the cooling structure provided in the indoor unit, and thereby overheating of the lighting device can be prevented. The air conditioner includes a blowing fan configured to flow air, a housing in which an intake port is formed to suction air by the blowing fan, a lighting device provided in the housing, and a cooling channel configured to guide the air suctioned by the blowing fan to pass the lighting device.

An integrated and modular air and lighting plenum that is the primary directional lighting mounting apparatus and laminar flow diffuser of an HVAC system in a healthcare setting. The plenum provides laminar air flow from the ceiling to the room in which it is located in accordance with HVAC requirements for healthcare environment settings, by using a plurality of cylindrical airflow outlets. The use of cylindrical airflow outlets promotes laminar airflow by reducing sharp boundaries that induce turbulence (e.g., the corners of rectangular or square outlets) and creates a highly sterile environment around the patient and staff in the operating room. The surgical lights used in the integrated air and lighting plenum allow the beam direction, spot size, focal point, brightness, and color temperature of the emitted light to be controlled.

Breathing light assembly

A breathing light assembly of an air purifier includes a front panel, a cover, a breathing light, a body cover, and a reflective strip. The cover includes a light transmission panel and a curved surface and is mounted to the front panel. The breathing light is mounted to the curved surface and faces the light transmission panel. The body cover cooperatively defines an optical channel with the cover. A surface of the body cover includes a light emitting zone within the optical channel. The light emitting zone faces the breathing light across the optical channel. Light emitted by the breathing light passes through the light transmission panel to the light emitting zone. The reflective strip is mounted on the light emitting zone and positioned at an end of the optical channel. The reflective strip reflects the light emitted by the breathing light.

An air distribution manifold can be connected to a building heating and/or cooling forced air system, enabling air to be directed downwardly to those seated at a table below. Optionally, a speaker and one or more video screens may be incorporated. Lighting, electrical receptacle extension and retraction, audio, and video screens may be remotely controlled.

Cooling fan

A cooling fan includes a fan base, an impeller part, a driving part, an illumination circuit board and plural light-emitting elements. The driving part includes a shaft seat, a driving circuit board and plural coils. The driving circuit board is disposed on the fan base. The plural coils are arranged between the driving circuit board and the illumination circuit board and arranged around the shaft seat. The rotating shaft of the impeller part is inserted into the shaft seat. When an electric current flows through the plural coils, the rotating shaft is rotated. The plural light-emitting elements are disposed on the illumination circuit board. When the electric current flows through the plural light-emitting elements, the plural light-emitting elements emit light beams.

The main housing can include an inlet through which air can be received within the main housing and an outlet through which the air can exit the main housing. A fan wheel can be supported in the main housing and it can be operable to generate a flow of air. A grille can be coupled to the main housing and the grille can comprise at least one aperture. The system can include a plate coupled to the grille and the plate can include a recess. Also, a set of illumination devices can be at least partially disposed within the recess.

Laminar flow diffuser with integrated lighting

A laminar flow diffuser with integrated lighting has a frame for supporting an air plenum and a lower housing. The air plenum receives conditioned air from a source of conditioned. The lower housing is attached to the bottom of the plenum. An aperture plate damper installed below the top plenum regulates the flow of air from the plenum through the laminar flow diffuser. A clear or translucent engineered, fire rated polymer perforated diffuser face forms the outlet from the lower housing to the room below. LED strips are positioned around the inside periphery of the lower housing. A light guide is installed adjacent the LED lighting strips to spread the light across the area of the perforated diffuser face.

VENTILATING SYSTEM

A ventilating system includes a main housing defining an inlet configured to receive air into the main housing and an outlet configured to allow the air to exit the main housing. The system further includes a fan in the main housing and configured and arranged to generate a flow of air into the main housing through the inlet and from the main housing through the outlet. The system further includes a grille configured to be coupled to the main housing, a plate configured to be coupled to the grille, and a lens coupled to the plate.

A combined ventilation and illumination system includes a ventilation assembly, a light fixture assembly, and a connector assembly. In an installed position, the system is installed above a ceiling of a room of building structure (e.g., a residence or workplace) to provide ventilation for the room. The system couples a light fixture to ventilation assembly below the ceiling. In the installed position, an air flow cavity is defined between the light fixture and the ceiling, where the cavity allows for air flow around the light fixture and into the ventilation assembly for eventual exhaust beyond the room in which the system is installed. The cavity includes a first critical distance that is sized according to operating parameters of a blower of the ventilation assembly to provide an adequate flow rate of intake air and to provide acceptable sound levels during operation of the system.
