The ceiling element further includes a conduit arranged to convey air between the room space and the ceiling space and/or the battery space when a temperature of the room space is different from a temperature of the ceiling space and/or a temperature of the battery container. A method of thermal management of a battery received in a battery container located in a ceiling space is also provided.

The present invention relates to a lighting device comprising a main body (10), a lighting body (20) and an anodized metal filter (30), in which said metal comprises a superficial porous layer of an oxide of said metal comprising at least one antimicrobial substance. In one embodiment, the filter comprises a plurality of threadlike elements of said anodized metal, at least partially in non-permanent contact with each other, randomly deformed to form a plurality of non-linear pathways. The air to be treated passes through said filter owing to the effect of a difference in temperature and/or the action of a mechanical device. In other embodiments, the filter comprises a metal sheet with holes.

According to an aspect of this disclosure, a ventilation and lighting system including a main housing having an inlet opening and a discharge opening, a blower and motor assembly disposed within a housing and operable to move air through the inlet and outlet, a grille configured to be located at the inlet opening, the grille having a cavity and a plate defining a plurality of apertures through which air may move, and one or more lighting elements arranged within the cavity and an optical component covering the cavity. The system is arranged such that light developed by the one or more lighting elements mixes within the cavity and transmits through the optical component covering the cavity, and the system further includes a controller that coordinates operation of the blower and motor assembly and the one or more lighting elements from a remote location.

The T-bar includes an elongate rigid spine extending between terminal ends including either a fixed anchor or adjustable anchor for attachment to adjacent T-bars or other supports. An upper heat sink is provided on an upper portion of the spine to enhance heat transfer from the T-bar to air surrounding upper portions of the T-bar. A light housing is provided on a lower portion of the T-bar which is configured to support a lighting module therein, such as a light emitting diode (LED) light. A lower heat sink is provided above this light housing and integrated into a rest shelf which supports ceiling tiles adjacent the T-bar. A power supply is provided which can be removably attached to the T-bar and provide appropriately conditioned power for the lighting module.

Illumination device

An illumination device includes a first light-emitting module, a second light-emitting module and an airflow-guiding structure. The second light-emitting module is adjacent to the first light-emitting module. The airflow-guiding structure includes a receiving casing, a first air inlet pipe in air communication with the receiving casing, and a first air outlet pipe in air communication with the receiving casing. The first light-emitting module is received inside the airflow-guiding structure. When external air flows into the receiving casing through the first air inlet pipe by natural convection, the external air inside the receiving casing is sterilized by a sterilization light source provided by the first light-emitting module, and the external air that has been sterilized by the sterilization light source flows out of the receiving casing through the first air outlet pipe by natural convection, and is then discharged out of the illumination device.
