Puddle lamp for vehicle

A puddle lamp for a vehicle includes a light source unit including a plurality of light sources installed on a substrate to allow formation of a plurality of images on ground; a light condensing unit including a plurality of condensing lenses for condensing light generated from the plurality of light sources; an imaging unit for transmitting the light from the light condensing unit to form at least one of the plurality of images; and a holder disposed between the light source unit and the light condensing unit to fix positions of the light source unit and the light condensing unit. The holder includes a partition wall unit to allow the light generated from each of the plurality of light sources to be separated from one another and to proceed to the imaging unit.

Lamp unit and vehicle door equipped with lamp unit

To provide a lamp unit in which rattling of a light-emitting element is prevented, a lamp unit includes: a holder member attached to an attachment object, a base board provided with a light-emitting element coupled on a main surface thereof; a retaining member that engages the holder member to sandwich the base board between the retaining member and the holder member such that the base board is retained at a prescribed position on the holder member; and a cover member that is at least partially light-transmissive and is attached to the holder member such that the cover member cooperates with the holder member to define a housing chamber for housing the base board and the retaining member.

Lighting device for a motor vehicle

A Lighting device for a motor vehicle is provided comprising at least one light source from which light is emitted during operation of the lighting device. An optical component into which the light emanating from the at least one light source enters is also provided, along with a light influencing means having an active surface for selectively influencing individual pixels or groups of pixels of the light. The light influencing means reflects or deflects light incident thereon in such a way that it emerges at least partially from the lighting device. Illumination optics are formed on or in the optical component. The light is reflected or deflected by the illumination optics during operation of the lighting device onto the active surface of the light influencing means. The light influencing means is arranged outside the optical component in such a way that light emanating from the illumination optics emerges from the optical component, impinges on the active surface of the light influencing means, is reflected or deflected by the latter, and then re-enters into the optical component.

A vehicle light includes: a light source; a light condensing lens condensing a light emitted from the light source; and an irradiation pattern forming member having an irradiation slit for allowing the light to partially pass through, and that forms the passing light into an irradiation pattern. The irradiation slit has a farthest location that corresponds to a farthest portion projected at a farthest position in the irradiation pattern and a nearest location that corresponds to a nearest portion projected at a nearest position in the irradiation pattern. The light condensing lens, on the irradiation pattern forming member, makes the farthest location brightest and the nearest location darkest in an upper-lower direction, and diffuses the light emitted from the light source more in a width direction, which is orthogonal to an optical axis direction and to the upper-lower direction, than in the upper-lower direction.

DOWNLIGHTING SIGNAL AND ILLUMINATION MIRROR HEAD FOR VEHICLE

A mirror assembly for vehicle is disclosed. The mirror assembly includes three configurations of extra illumination to the passenger loading area in addition to the typical mirror function for providing the vehicle driver the rear and/or side view of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly comprises two clam shells, and/or a lighting pod and/or two mirror heads that are supported by a supporting arm. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly is mounted on the school bus through the clam shells. In addition, a side lighting device is mounted on the right side of the vehicle for providing extra illumination to the passenger loading area.

Vehicle body side structure

A vehicle body side structure includes: a cornering light as a light source configured to illuminate an area in a turning direction when a vehicle turns; a light path forming a path, through which light from the cornering light passes toward the area in the turning direction; and a reflector provided in the light path and reflecting at least a part of the light to illuminate an area in the vicinity of a door opening on a lateral side of a vehicle body.
