SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SURROUNDING LAMP SYSTEM OF VEHICLE
A system and method of controlling a surrounding lamp system of a vehicle are provided. The method includes sensing an approach of the user to the vehicle acquiring an image of the user with respect to a vehicle body, when the user approaches the vehicle body. A motion of the user, the motion having directionality with respect to the vehicle body is determined from the image and a surrounding lamp is then operated based on the motion having directionality with respect to the vehicle body.
PUDDLE LAMP
A puddle lamp including a light source composed of a single light emitting body, a lens set, a projection film with a fixed image and a projection lens is provided. The lens set is disposed at a light path downstream side of the light source. The projection film is disposed at a light path downstream side of the lens set. The lens is disposed at a light path downstream side of the projection film. An optical axis of the light source is substantially parallel to an optical axis of the lens set, and an optical axis of the projection lens is not perpendicular to an image plane of the puddle lamp. Furthermore, another puddle lamp is also provided.
VEHICLE DOOR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door light assembly includes a base including a cavity and one or more bulb connectors positioned within the cavity; a connector for connecting the one or more bulb connectors to a power source; a lens assembly releasably connected to the base, wherein the lens assembly comprises: a lens, a light source adapted to emit light through the lens to the exterior of the light assembly, and a projector adapted to project an image to the exterior of the light assembly when the door is in an open position; and a blub connector releasably connected to the one or more bulb connectors to supply power to the lens assembly.
VEHICLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A vehicle light assembly includes a fixed structure, at least one light and an image projector. The fixed structure is configured to be assembled to a vehicle body component of a vehicle. The at least one light is fixed to the fixed structure and is configured to illuminate a first external area that is in the vicinity of the vehicle. The image projector is fixed to the fixed structure and is configured to project an image onto a second external area that is in the vicinity of the first external area.
COMBINED APPROACH LAMP AND LOGO LAMP
A lamp apparatus for use in an external rear view assembly includes at least one aperture, the apparatus including a housing comprising a rear view face and a front face with the at least one aperture; a printed circuit board (PCB) mounted adjacent the rear face, the PCB further having a power connector; an electronic circuit; and at least one light source mounted in a location on the PCB; a transparent lens component comprising at least one lens portion; and an adjusting device for spatially adjusting the apparatus relative to a housing part of the rear view assembly, relative to at least one of a housing cap or a mirror foot cover.
Vehicle lamp light blocking
A vehicle lamp includes one or more LEDs mounted to a printed circuit board for producing light. One or more inner lenses are coupled to LEDs for receiving light such that light enters along an edge or surface of each inner lens and propagates through each inner lens before exiting. A projection lens is oriented adjacent the inner lenses such that the projection lens receives light from the inner lenses and projects the light from the vehicle lamp. A light blocking material is applied to at least a portion of the projection lens for altering an appearance of light emitted from the projection lens. The resulting projections provide custom lit appearances having varying patterns, intensity, texture, and/or color. The vehicle lamp may be used for satisfying vehicle lamp legal functions, welcome functions, autonomous driving functions, and/or logo functions.
Display system for vehicle
Provided is a display system for a vehicle. The display system includes a display device installed to be visually recognizable from the outside of a vehicle, and a control device configured to cause the display device to display state information of the vehicle. The control device receives a signal from a sensor that senses a distance from the vehicle to an object around the vehicle, and the control device changes display of the display device based on the distance.
Step tread luminaire
The specification discloses a step tread luminaire including an optic and a light source directing light into the optic. The optic is a flexible elastomer adapted to be fitted into a hole in a step tread in grommet-like fashion with an upper portion of the optic on the top of the tread and a lower portion of the optic on the bottom of the tread. The optic emits upwardly directed, decorative light from the upper portion of the optic and downwardly directed, functional light from the lower portion of the optic.
VEHICLE LIGHTING SYSTEM
A lighting assembly for a vehicle is provided. The lighting assembly includes a light source fixed to a vehicle mount structure to direct light toward ground level, and a lens covering the light source, wherein the lens includes an outer surface having a sawtooth profile, wherein the sawtooth profile is oriented at an angle in the range of approximately 30 to 60 degrees, and more preferably of approximately 45 degrees relative to a longitudinal or lateral axis of the vehicle.
Illumination device
An illumination device includes a case, a lens body, an LED substrate, a stopper member, and a lead wire. The lens body is fixed in the case. An illuminating part of the lens body projects outward from the upper face opening of the case. The LED substrate is housed in the substrate housing part of the lens body, and the lower surface of the LED substrate is supported by the stopper member. The two lead wires are connected to the LED, led out of the case through insertion holes in the stopper member, and retained by one of lead wire retainers formed on the two side surfaces of the case.
