VEHICLE GRILLE ASSEMBLY

A vehicle grille assembly is provided herein. The grille assembly includes a panel sealingly coupled to a substrate and defining a cavity therebetween. A light source is disposed within the cavity. A diffuser is disposed between the light source and a portion of the panel.

Vehicle illumination assembly

An illumination assembly is provided herein. The illumination assembly includes a first light source configured to generate an illumination pattern. A second light source is configured to generate an image within the illumination pattern. A lens is optically coupled with the first and second light sources. A controller is configured to control the activation state of the first and second light sources.

Real-time analysis and augmented pathway projection for vehicle passengers

A method of augmented projection for vehicle passengers includes sensing that the passenger is within, or about to enter, a drop zone, and sensing one or more static obstacles within the drop zone. The method further includes highlighting at least one of the static obstacles with a projector mounted on the vehicle.

VEHICLE LAMP ASSEMBLY

A lamp assembly is provided herein. The lamp assembly includes first and second light sources operably coupled to an exterior portion of a vehicle. The first light source illuminates a front door and the second light source illuminates a rear door. A controller is configured to activate the first and second light sources to selectively illuminate the front or rear doors to indicate a predefined door of entry into the vehicle.

Display system for vehicle

Provided is a display system for a vehicle. The display system includes a display device installed to be visually recognizable from the outside of a vehicle, and a control device configured to cause the display device to display state information of the vehicle. The control device receives a signal from a sensor that senses a distance from the vehicle to an object around the vehicle, and the control device changes display of the display device based on the distance.

LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE, COMPRISING A SCREEN HAVING A MASKING PART AND A TRANSPARENT PART

The invention relates to a lighting device for a vehicle, with the lighting device being configured to carry out at least one lighting function and including at least one optical module, and a screen arranged facing the optical module, with the screen including at least two elements that are arranged relative to one another to form an upper part and a lower part of the screen, the upper part being configured to mask the ambient light coming from outside the vehicle, and the lower part being configured to transmit the ambient light.

LIGHT EMITTING APPARATUS, LIGHT SOURCE UNIT, AND MOBILE BODY

A light emitting apparatus is supported by a second support supported by a first support laterally relative to the first support alongside an imaging apparatus, and emits light to be detected by the imaging apparatus. The light emitting apparatus includes a light source that emits the light and a lens on which the light emitted from the light source is incident and that transmits the light incident on the lens. The lens includes a part provided with a dimmer that at least partially reduces light to be emitted to the first support out of the light incident on the lens.

System for enhancing the visibility of a ground surface adjacent to a land vehicle

A system for enhancing the visibility of a ground surface adjacent to a land vehicle is provided. The system includes a mobile communication device, a hand-held communication device and control logic coupled to the mobile device and operative to determine if the hand-held device is an authorized device. An imaging assembly is supported on the vehicle to obtain an image of the ground surface. An image processor processes the image to detect an obstacle located on the ground surface. The control logic is operative to generate a display command signal. A display device is responsive to the signal to display in real time the detected obstacle or a welcome mat onto or adjacent the vehicle for enhanced viewing by an approaching pedestrian when the pedestrian carrying the authorized device is located within a predetermined range of the mobile device.
