Illumination apparatus for a vehicle with light sources, guide elements and optical separation function
A lighting device for vehicles with a plurality of light sources and with a plurality of light guide elements each assigned to each of the light sources, which are arranged in front of the light sources in the main emission direction, wherein the light guide elements are designed as micro light guide elements and that an optical separation is provided between neighboring micro light guide elements and/or in the main radiation direction behind the micro light guide elements so that a scattered light portion emitted by a first light source cannot be irradiated or emitted by a light guide element assigned to a second light source.
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp includes a light source provided on one surface of a board and a light guide body that guides light emitted from the light source, the light guide body has an incidence section located on a side of the light guide body facing the one surface of the board, an emitting section located on a side opposite to the side facing the one surface of the board, and a light guide section located between the incidence section and the emitting section, and the light guide section has a portion that extends across inside and outside a region where the light guide body overlaps with the board when seen in a plan view, that extends at an outer side of the region, and that extends from one side toward the other side of the board in at least a thickness direction of the board.
Retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas
Disclosed are various embodiments for a retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas. A retractable lighting device is configured to transition between collapsed and non-collapsed states where the retractable lighting device may include one or more light emitting components. A controller may be communicatively coupled to the driving mechanism, wherein the controller is configured to transmit a signal to the driving mechanism that causes the driving mechanism to transition the retractable lighting device from a collapsed state to a non-collapsed state and vice versa.
Light-emitting assembly with transparent nanostructured electrochromic polymer color filter
A light-emitting assembly configured to generate varied color light includes an assembly housing. The light-emitting assembly also includes a light filter element fixed relative to the assembly housing. The light filter element includes a plurality of transparent nanostructured ElectroChromic (TNEC) layers. When at least one of the plurality of TNEC layers is subjected to voltage, the subject TNEC layer(s) imparts a distinct reflective color to ambient light entering the light-emitting assembly. Such a light-emitting assembly may be specifically adapted for use on a motor vehicle.

Headlamp assembly having a dual filament bulb with an amber lens and cover lens to spread light to provide forward and side facing turn signals and side markers
Optical features of a light bulb, a bezel, an amber lens, and a cover lens of a headlamp assembly combine such that the headlamp assembly can meet all requirements for forward-facing turn signal, side-facing turn signal, side marker light, and side reflex refractor functionality with a single light bulb including two filaments.
Vehicle lamp
Provided is a vehicle lamp configured such that light emitted from a light emitting element (30) and incident from an incident portion (22e) formed on a top surface (22c) of a plate-like light guide (22B) is reflected toward a front end surface (22a) of the plate-like light guide (22B) by a first reflecting portion (22f) formed on a bottom surface (22d) of the plate-like light guide (22B). At that time, the incident portion (22e) is positioned on a step-up surface (22c1) formed to protrude from a general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). Further, the first reflecting portion (22f) is formed such that its upper end edge (22f1) is located closer to the step-up surface (22c1) than the general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). In this way, a wide reflecting area of the first reflecting portion (22f) can be secured.
OPTICAL DEVICE FOR AN AUTOMOBILE VEHICLE
The present invention relates to an optical device that includes a light guide; at least a first and a second light source; at least a first and a second optical coupler; and at least one collimator to generate a first collimated light beam and a second collimated light beam. The at least one first optical coupler is configured to receive the first collimated light beam that is directed along a first optical axis towards a first region of the light exit face producing a first photometric function. The at least one second optical coupler is configured to receive the second collimated light beam that is directed along a second optical axis towards a second region of the light exit face producing a second photometric function.
Lamp assembly for a vehicle
A lamp assembly for a vehicle includes a housing, an outer lens partially covering the housing to define an enclosure between the housing and lens, a light emitting diode (LED) light source arranged in the enclosure, and a light guide forming part of the housing. The light guide may include a light receiving surface within the enclosure and a light emitting surface outside the enclosure so that light emitted from the LED light source is received by the light receiving surface of the light guide and directed toward the light emitting surface of the light guide and light is output from the light guide.
