The projection lens includes an upper lens part that forms the main instruction symbol and a lower lens part that forms the sub instruction symbols. In the projection lens, at least both end parts in a horizontal direction of an upper emission surface allowing emission of light from the light source in the upper lens part protrude further to a projecting side than both end parts in the horizontal direction of a lower emission surface allowing emission of the light from the light source in the lower lens part.

The vehicular lamp comprises a first and second light source each having a light emitting surface and being arranged in a predetermined parallel direction; a single condenser lens for condensing light emitted from the first and second light source; a light shielding member provided with an irradiation slit through which light condensed by the condenser lens is partially passed; and a projection lens for projecting light passed through the light shielding member to form an irradiation pattern. The first and second light source are arranged with an interval equal to or larger than dimensions in the parallel direction on the light emitting surfaces, the condenser lens makes a light distribution in which a high light quantity area with the highest light quantity is single in the parallel direction.

The lighting system further comprises at least one second light emitting device mounted on a front left side of the vehicle and adapted to project in front of the vehicle a second pixelated light beam. One of the first pixelated light beam and second pixelated light beam, called high resolution beam, has a number of pixels greater than or equal to at least five times, in particular greater than or equal to at least ten times, the number of pixels of the other of said pixelated light beams, called low resolution beam.

PROJECTION ALERTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES AND RELATED METHODS

A system for alerting motorists travelling on a roadway in a vicinity of a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes one or more projector units, and a respective attachment structure for each of the one or more projector units for attaching the projector units to a portion of the vehicle. The one or more projector units are configured and arranged to project a light signal on to at least a portion of the roadway adjacent the vehicle and in a travel path of the motorist. The one or more projector units include at least one light flare projector unit and/or at least one signage projector unit. A school bus incorporating the system is also disclosed. A method for alerting motorists travelling on a roadway in the vicinity of a vehicle is also disclosed.

PROJECTION DEVICE

A projection device includes a heat source module, a heat storage module, and a heat dissipation connecting element. The heat source module is configured to generate a light beam. The heat storage module includes a storage tank and a heat storage material, and the heat storage material is filled into the storage tank. The heat dissipation connecting element connects the heat source module and the heat storage module. Heat generated by the heat source module is transferred to the heat storage module through the heat dissipation connecting element.
