PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING A HEADLAMP OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A process is provided for controlling a headlamp of a motor vehicle. The headlamp includes a first light source module and a second light source module. The light source modules each feature several light sources that emit light. The light emitted by the light sources of the light source module represents a first light distribution, and the light emitted by the light sources of the second light source module represents a second light distribution. The first light distribution and the second light distribution partially overlap. The first light distribution and the second light distribution together form an overall light distribution. A subarea of the overall light distribution is formed only by the first light distribution, and the subarea is a vertical edge area of the overall light distribution.

A vehicle mirror device includes a mirror housing attached to a vehicle and a mirror that is held by the mirror housing and transmits light from inside of the mirror housing while reflecting light from outside of the mirror housing. The mirror housing accommodates therein a light source, a reflector having a reflective surface that reflects light of the light source, and a mask having a light transmitting part through which the light from the light source reflected by the reflector is projected. The light source and the reflector are arranged so that the light is projected toward the light transmitting part of the mask by one time of reflection, and the reflector is arranged so that the reflected light is projected at an angle with respect to a normal line of a reflective surface of the mirror.

AUTOMOTIVE LAMP

The present disclosure provides an automotive lamp, and more particularly, to an automotive lamp capable of informing an ambient vehicle approaching from one side behind the vehicle of a vehicle state by irradiating light of a road pattern to indicate the vehicle state to an area behind the vehicle. The automotive lamp includes a lamp unit disposed in a rear lamp housing of a vehicle and a detection unit configured to detect whether a reverse shift stage is selected. The lamp unit is configured to irradiate a first light distribution pattern that forms a reversing light signal pattern in the rearward direction of the vehicle, and a second light distribution pattern that forms a road pattern on the rearward road surface of the vehicle. The first light distribution pattern and the second light distribution pattern are formed simultaneously, when the reverse shift stage is selected.

Lighting apparatus for a motor vehicle

A lighting apparatus for a motor vehicle has a lighting module. The lighting module includes a laser light source for generating laser light. The laser light source has one or more laser diodes. The lighting module also includes an optical device on which the laser light is incident and which is designed to generate a defined symbol in the surroundings of the motor vehicle. The optical apparatus includes one or more holographically optical elements which are substantially non-absorbent to the laser light and which are designed to produce an interference of the laser light by phase modulation thereof in order to generate the defined symbol.

PEDESTRIAN COMMUNICATION VEHICLE FOG LAMP
