Body board with LED light rope, flexible solar panel and molded channels
This invention is directed toward a body board, used for riding ocean waves, which has one or more removable LED light ropes disposed in one or more channels that have been molded into the top, bottom, or sides of the body board. The channels are removably covered with a water-resistant covering that can be opened to remove or exchange the LED lights. The body board also includes a cavity into which a battery is placed, where the battery powers the LED's, and means of controlling the LED's. The battery cavity, in the first embodiment, is also covered by a water-resistant covering that can be opened to access the battery for removal or replacement. A solar panel is embedded in the deck of the body board and connected to the battery for recharging when the body board is left in the sun.
Electronically powered illuminating fin system for watersports involving boards
An electronically powered, light emitting fin used with a surfboard or paddleboard, or similar water sports board. The fin is configured to be attached to the water sports board to provide illumination under the board when using the device. The lighted fin may be particularly useful when using the water sports board at night to illuminate water beneath the board.
Anti-fouling light emitting unit for marine vessel surfaces
A light emitting unit is configured to be applied to a surface area of a marine vessel and includes at least one light source configured to emit anti- fouling light (e.g., UV light), and two electrically conductive plates. One side of the at least one light source is electrically connected to one of the plates and another side to the electric energy distribution arrangement of the light emitting unit. The plates are arranged to form respective capacitors with an electrically conductive area of, or over, the surface of the marine vessel, the capacitors connected in series through the electrically conductive surface area once the light emitting unit is applied to the surface the marine vessel.

Transducer and trolling motor lighting device
Various implementations described herein are directed to providing lighting in an underwater transducer mounted to a boat. The transducer assembly includes a housing. The housing includes a transducer. The housing includes one or more lighting devices. The housing also includes an element integrated with an outer edge of the housing in a waterproof configuration. The element allows light from the one or more lighting devices to emanate outward from the outer edge of the housing.
MODULAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE FOR A MARINE ENVIRONMENT
An illumination device is provided and adapted to be mounted to a transportation device, such as a boat, intended to be used in a high moisture environment and provide a sealed environment for lights contained therein. The illumination device can provide both spotlight and floodlight simultaneously using high efficiency lights such as LED's. The LEDs are positioned in relatively small windows that may be constructed to modify the distribution of the light as it is broadcast. In addition, the illumination device preferably includes an interchangeable face plate that may take any desirable perimeter shape to accent the features of the vessel or vehicle to which it is attached.
Illumination System for a Watersport Board
A system for illuminating a class of watersport boards. The system includes a light on the top of the board and a light-transmitting fin on the underside of the board. The board-top light and the light-transmitting fin are fastened together with fasteners that pass through the board. The board-top light contains a battery and energizes the light-transmitting fin through an energy-coupling. Electrically conductive paths and translucent channels are both discussed as energy couplings. An inductive charging connector is provided for charging the battery. Remaining service-time is reported to a user based on battery charge. Additional sensors, such as light sensors, and a microcontroller allow the unit to turn on automatically when ambient light falls below a programmed threshold.

ILLUMINATED BOARD
A buoyant illuminated board having a board assembly with a deck, a bottom, first and second lateral sides, and at least one aperture. An electrical system has a power source, and at least one light source within the at least one aperture. A hatch assembly has a lid, and a housing that defines a cavity. The electrical system further comprises a controller, an amplifier, and a battery charger connector that are housed within the hatch assembly along with the power source. The at least one aperture may be elongated to define a channel. The at least one light source is a bulb, a light, a lamp, a light-emitting diode, a light-emitting diode strip, or rope lighting. The board assembly also has an exterior cover that covers the at least one light source within the at least one aperture, and may have a battery charger to recharge the power source.
POST CAP ASSEMBLY
A lighted post cap assembly includes a base member with a generally square shape, a floor, and a plurality of perimeter side walls. The base member is configured to receive an upper end of a post and the floor defines at least four alignment guides and at least four rectangular shaped through holes. Each alignment guide and each rectangular shaped through hole is disposed proximate a respective perimeter side wall. A plurality of light sources are contained within a housing, and each light source is configured to be received by a respective alignment guide at a respective rectangular shaped through hole and oriented downward to illuminate a perimeter of the post. A cover has perimeter side walls and a roof and is secured to the base member such that the plurality of light sources contained between the base member and the cover.
