A device including a first clip portion including a bottom section having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a first leg section extending from the first end of the bottom section, a second leg section extending from the second end of the bottom section, and a pole adaptor attachment portion; an arm projecting away from the first leg section; and a light string attachment portion located on the first leg section, the light string attachment portion including a substantially C-shaped clip defined by the arm, the first leg section, and the pole adaptor attachment portion.

A pigtail hanger for hanging a cable, e.g. Christmas tree lights, or for hanging from a cable, e.g. cloths line, comprises helical hanger including a plurality of turns around a longitudinal axis for receiving a cable extending therethrough; and a mounting bracket extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the helical hanger for mounting on a surface or for supporting a load.

A magnetic support clip for supporting decorative lighting and other objects adjacent to gutters, roof eaves, and other structures of homes and other buildings. The support clip includes a proximal portion and a distal portion which are rotatably attached to one another via hinge-like structures that permit the clip portions to rotate about the hinge axis, providing the capability of the clip to operate in an open mode of operation during the installation and removal of the clip, and in a closed mode of operation when the clip is mounted to a gutter. Magnets embedded in lower portions of both of the clip portions are configured to be aligned when mounted onto a gutter and placed by a user into a closed mode of operation. The embedded magnets, having a gutter wall in between, provide an attractive magnetic force to further secure the clip to the gutter.

An electrical connector and luminaire assembly are provided. The electrical connector includes a base including a bottom wall and two side walls, the two side walls being on both sides of the bottom wall, and the bottom wall and the two side walls defining a receiving channel; a first printed circuit board fixed on the base, the first printed circuit board and the receiving channel being respectively located at two sides of the bottom wall; and a plurality of first conductive terminals electrically connected to the first printed circuit board and extending through the bottom wall of the base into the receiving channel.

Apparatus and associated methods relate to synchronizing a plurality of lighting display controllers so as to temporally coordinate a corresponding plurality of lighting displays controlled thereby. A clock or timer is configured to generate a time sequence of timing signals, to which the plurality of lighting display systems synchronize themselves. Each of the plurality of lighting display systems display a first of a time sequence of spatial illumination patterns in response to receiving, from the transmitter, a signal indicative of a temporal start of the synchronized plurality of lighting displays. Each of the plurality of lighting display systems displays a subsequent spatial illumination patterns in response to receiving, from the transmitter, a subsequent timing signal.

A decorative removable lighting enclosed clip made for mounting a light to a support surface such as gutters, shingles or a building structure. The enclosed clip allows for an aesthetically pleasing display of lights with rapid and easy installation and removal of the lighting. This eliminates falling debris from broken clips or clips that fall off the lights during the removal process. A support tab is inserted between the side portions of the structure, at longitudinally spaced intervals along the strip, and are frictionally gripped and retained by the facing side portions of the gutter, shingle or structure. The clips have enclosed end portions which support the light elements of a decorative light string along structure. The enclosed clip is capable of mounting onto a wide variety of gutters, eaves and building structures. The spacing is adjustable and provides a plurality of discrete angular positions.

A decorative removable lighting enclosed clip made for mounting a light to a support surface such as gutters, shingles or a building structure is disclosed. The clip may include an expandable bulb holder adapted to permit passage of a bulb that is larger than the resting diameter of the bulb holder. In some embodiments, the clip includes a slot that bisects a portion of the clip into sections that can flex away from each other, which enables the bulb holder to expand when subjected to a force. As a result, the clip may be installed with a decorative light strand without having to remove the bulbs from their sockets.

A luminaire including at least one such an optical device is also disclosed.

A rain gutter illumination system having a cover for attaching to a rain gutter with an aperture along the substantial length of the cover, and opposing recesses for retaining a decorative insert. When the decorative insert is inserted in the cover, it is held in place by the recesses, and a light source and optional diffusing panel may be arranged in the cover so that the light source projects light through the aperture of the illuminable surface. The light source may be remotely controllable using a wireless remote control device, such as a smart phone over a network connection.
