SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING FORCE AND REPETITIVE MOTION FOR THERAPEUTIC AND FITNESS GOALS
The invention is directed to systems, devices, and methods for measuring force and repetitions during exercise or rehabilitation activities. Devices in accordance with some embodiments may include: a casing; a processor within the casing; a display visibly on the casing; a first attachment portion on one end of the casing; a second attachment portion on an opposite end of the casing; and a force sensor connected to the first and the second attachment portion, the force sensor in communication with the processor. Methods may include: attaching an exercise band to the wireless force measurement device; conducting exercises causing the exercise band to stretch and pull away from the wireless force measurement device; counting, by the device, the number of times the band stretches and pulls away from the device; determining, by the device the amount of force applied through the exercise band during the exercise.
RESISTANCE TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD
A method for use with a physical training device is provided. The device including an elastic resistance strap having first and second handles. The method includes pulling at least one of the first and second handles to generate force on a target muscle group through resistance training. The method also includes pulling the at least one of the first and second handles to generate anaerobic and aerobic muscle activity within the target muscle group through cardiovascular interval training.
Compression Golf Swing Training Apparatus
A compression golf swing training apparatus includes a hitting board mounted atop a framework and configured to move downwardly at the point of impact from the golf club striking the hitting board during a golf swing. Specifically, the downward motion of the hitting board, when struck with a golf club, compresses the compression springs in their holder imitating or replicating the feeling a golfer experiences when taking a divot of golf course grass during a golf swing. The system is reconfigurable and interchangeable with distinct compression spring levels held in their individual spring holders replicating and/or imitating the resistance of the ground the golfer experiences playing on hard, soft, and wet golf course grass conditions.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND METHOD OF EXERCISING UTILIZING A PULSE GENERATION
An exercise equipment configured to exercise muscles by require the muscles to generate torque intermittently is provided. The exercise equipment includes a sleeve. A pipe is slidably disposed within the sleeve. The sleeve is concentric to the pipe wherein the outer surface of the pipe is spaced apart the inner surface of the sleeve. A counterweight is mounted to at least one end of the pipe wherein the rotation of the pipe along an orbital path causes the pipe to turn within the bore of the sleeve. The turning of the pipe is a result of the counterweights completing a revolution as the counterweights rotate about the longitudinal axis of the pipe. The turning of the pipe generates a pulse so as to actuate muscular structure within the body of the user.
Leg Exercise Weighted Shoe Assembly
Disclosed are weighted shoe assemblies that allows easy selection of different weights and the ability to accommodate a variety of foot or shoe sizes. This greatly reduces the cost of providing all sizes and shapes of individually fitted shoes. More specifically disclosed are weighted shoe assemblies having an upper attachment component to attach to a user's foot or shoe and a removable weight components to allow selection of desired weights and means to removably attach the components together.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, and a console configured to control the resistance mechanism and guide a user through a workout using the exercise machine using a projected visual indicator to assist a user in performing the workout properly.
RESISTANCE BAND SYSTEMS
A resistance band system including a frame-assembly, a plurality of linear-straps, and a plurality of removable-D-rings. The frame-assembly, the plurality of linear-straps and plurality of removable-D-rings of the resistance band system are structured and arranged in combination to allow a user to affix a linear-resistance-band to the resistance band system to provide an overall exercise system which provides the user with a plurality of locations to affix the linear-resistance-band to the resistance band system to allow a highly flexible and diverse exercise system to the user. The frame-assembly includes an upper-frame, a lower-frame, and a u-member. The upper-frame includes two primary-members, two inbars, two forward-bars, and a crown-bar. The lower-frame includes two first-members, two downbars, and down-cross-member. The u-member comp includes rises a body, two legs, and two t-couplers, with u-member rotatably coupled to the lower-frame via the two t-couplers.
Portablr exercise device
A portable exercise device that allows a person to do Pilates type exercises without using traditional, cumbersome equipment. The device uses a pair of wheel assemblies each attached to each end of a central shaft. The shaft height can be adjusted from the center of each wheel to a lower point closer to the ground. Adjustable cam lockable hand/foot plates are attached to the shaft allowing the user to attach his or her feet to the shaft. Each hand/foot plate assembly includes a rotational plate that allows the hand/foot plate to be positioned at various angles in relation to the shaft. Resistance bands are attached on one side to the shaft and on the opposite side to a resistance source. The resistance source can be the user's own hands or feet, or a retaining strap attached to the lower portion of a door or wall.
Portable full body workout system
Presented is a portable full body work out system for indoor and outdoor uses. The system includes a pair of mounts configurable over an intended surface, a pair of bracket assembles releasably mountable over the mounts, a strap with extending around one or more pulleys of one of the bracket assemblies and operatively connecting to a securing device, a resistance band releasably mountable around a retainer member of one of the bracket assemblies and another coupled to the securing device. The securing device is selectively operated during initial set up to allow the user to adopt to an appropriate position to connect an external exercising accessory to the strap for performing an exercise. The user is able to select the desired resistance for the exercise, or reduce the selected resistance, or combine resistances for even greater resistance by selecting appropriate resistance bands, and/or changing the tension applied on the strap.
TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS
Disclosed is a muscle toning garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable resistance elements. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath conventional clothing. Toning may thereby be accomplished throughout the wearer's normal daily activities, without the need for access to conventional exercise equipment. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training techniques.
