FULL BODY FITNESS EQUIPMENT
A fitness device includes a main body, a left wing extending outwardly from the main body in a first direction, and a right wing extending outwardly from the main body in a second direction opposite the first direction. A cable extends from the main body to each of the left wing and the right wing. The fitness device further includes a gearbox, a spool assembly connected to an input end of the gearbox, a brake assembly connected to an output end of the gearbox, and a pulley assembly.
EXERCISE BAR CARRIAGE LOCKING MECHANISM
An exercise apparatus comprising: a frame; first and second vertical guides coupled to the frame; first and second carriages carried on the respective first and second vertical guides, each of the first and second carriages having an upper carriage portion, a lower carriage portion and a carriage locking mechanism operable to lock and release the lower carriage portion to a selected vertical position along the first and second vertical guides; and an exercise bar coupled to the upper carriage portion of the first and second carriages, the exercise bar operable to translate or rotate to actuate the carriage locking mechanism.
Hip engagement device and method of use thereof
A method is provided for preventing back injuries related to sport motions or swings that includes setting an attachment height of a distal end of an elastic of a warmup and training device, the attachment height set to define an angle α backwards from vertical above center of a practice motion specific to a sport to be practiced, attaching a handle to a proximal end of the elastic where a type of the handle corresponds to the sporting activity to be performed, performing the practice motion while holding the handle and stretching the elastic, and returning to the beginning of the practice motion to repeat the activity.
Indoor bicycle adjustment method and system
A stationary indoor “smart” training bicycle includes a unique combination of adjustable components to provide configurable dimensions to adjust the frame size of the indoor bicycle to properly fit a rider. A system is also provided to process a digital image of an outdoor bicycle and determine and translate dimensions and adjustments to the indoor bicycle to match one or more dimensions (lengths, angles, separations, etc.) of the outdoor bicycle.
Exercise Assembly
An exercise assembly includes a treadmill that has a belt which can be walked upon. The belt has a braking mechanism and the braking mechanism inhibits the belt from being moved thereby presenting resistance to a user attempting to walk on the belt. A set of pull bars is coupled to and extends upwardly from the treadmill for simulating pulling a heavy object. A set of push bars is coupled to and extends upwardly from the treadmill to simulate pushing a heavy object. A spool is rotatably integrated into the treadmill and the spool is in mechanical communication with the braking mechanism such that the spool resists being rotated. A rope is wrapped around the spool and the rope resists being pulled on by the user when the user walks on the treadmill for simulating pulling a heavy object with the rope.
FITNESS APPARATUS AND METHOD
A vertically oriented fitness apparatus utilizes a combination of upper and lower assemblies resistant to vertical motion when the user pushes and pulls against crossbar members of the assemblies vertically. In alternate embodiments of the apparatus, resistance is provided by a dual action dashpot such as an adjustable bidirectional hydraulic damping cylinder which may be used in combination with spring resistance elements. The user is thus able to perform strength training and fitness conditioning exercises for both upper and lower extremities, and their core simultaneously while using the apparatus.
Exercise apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
Upper and lower body push and pull exercise machine with a one directional resistance mechanism and adjustable angle
An upper and lower body push and pull exercise machine with a rotatable one directional resistance mechanism and adjustable angle having a movable user support frame having a forward end and a rearward end and the rearward end is pivotable relative to the floor, an angle adjusting mechanism, movable lower body user supports having a foot support platform and a shin support pad operatively connected to the movable user support frame; movable upper body user supports having a gripping handle operatively connected to the movable user support frame, a linkage assembly operatively connected to all of the user supports, a rotatable one direction resistance mechanism operatively connected to the upper and lower body user supports for creating resistance to the exercise motion of the user supports, and a resistance mechanism drive assembly operatively connecting all of the user supports to the rotatable one direction resistance mechanism.
Exercise Machine Support System
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
ADJUSTABLE EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise machine comprising a support and a frame pivotally attached at one end to the support, and a group of weights adapted to move along the frame. The other end of the frame including handles to pivotally move the frame up and down where there is a means controlling remotely the position of the weights on the frame.
