Volute rotary resetting mechanism and rowing machine
11957947 · 2024-04-16 ·

A volute rotary resetting mechanism is provided, including a rotating wheel (100) and a main shaft (200); the main shaft (200) is arranged on the rotating wheel (100) in a penetrating manner; a turntable part (110) and a resilience part (120) are axially distributed on the rotating wheel (100); the turntable part (110) is connected to the main shaft (200) through a one-way bearing (111), so that the rotating wheel (100) drives the main shaft (200) to rotate in one way; a volute spring (121) is arranged on the resilience part (120); an inner end of the volute spring (121) is fixed on the resilience part (120), and an outer end is fixed on a volute reel (122); and the rotating wheel (100) and the volute reel (122) are relatively rotatable, so that the volute spring (121) is tightened to generate a resilience force for rotary resetting of the rotating wheel (100). A rowing machine with the volute rotary resetting mechanism is further provided.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING RUNAWAY RESISTANCE ON AN EXERCISE DEVICE
20190329091 · 2019-10-31 ·

A treadmill may include a deck, a first pulley incorporated into the deck, a second pulley incorporated into the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, a motor in mechanical communication with at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley to move the tread belt in a first direction, and a runaway mitigation mechanism in at least indirect mechanical communication with the motor. The runaway mitigation mechanism at least mitigates a motor runaway condition.

Aquatic Exercise Device

A fin assembly for aqua resistance exercise comprises a strap having an inner strap and an outer strap, and with fastener(s) provided to an outside of the inner strap and an inside of the outer strap to releasably attach the inner and outer straps together. One or more fins are received on the outer strap and a longitudinal position of the one or more fins is secured by engagement of the inner strap to the outer strap. The length of the inner strap is longer than a length of the outer strap, so that an extending end portion of the outer strap can overlap and engage an opposite end of the outer strap to secure the fin assembly about the user's limb.

Exercise machine with variable resistance
10441834 · 2019-10-15 · ·

This invention discloses an exercise machine with adjustable resistance. The exercise machine includes a fluid container, one or more paddles, a driving device, and an adjusting device. The one or more paddles are arranged in the fluid container into which a fluid is poured. The driving device comprises an adjusting rod to couple with the one or more paddles. The driving device transmits a user's force for driving the one or more paddles to rotate. The adjusting device can adjust a depth of the one or more paddles in the fluid, so as to provide differing degrees of resistance for the one or more paddles.

Flow resistance increasing swim wear

A device to aid a swimmer in training includes a piece of swimwear and a plurality of flow resistance increasing structures attached to the swimwear. The flow resistance increasing structures include a fill material constructed with a polymerized, monofilament material. The polymerized, monofilament material can include tulle.

Resistance kickboard attachment

A resistance kickboard attachment is disclosed. When attached to a kickboard, the resistance kickboard attachment adds resistance while swimming with the kickboard. The resistance kickboard attachment includes a resistance pocket, with variable resistance provided by an adjustment of a rear aperture of the resistance pocket. The resistance kickboard attachment attaches to the kickboard with a transverse and a longitudinal strap. The transverse strap includes an adjustment on either side of the longitudinal strap which allows the longitudinal strap to be centered on the kickboard.

Cooling an exercise device during a dive motor runway condition

A treadmill can include a deck, a first pulley incorporated into the deck, a second pulley incorporated into the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, a drive motor in mechanical communication with at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley to move the tread belt in a first direction, a runaway load component in electrical communication with the drive motor. The runaway load component draws electrical power generated by the drive motor during a runaway motor condition.

Aqua Exercise Equipment

An aqua resistance fin assembly comprises two fin components and at least one fastening member for fitting the fin components to a user's limb in a side-by-side configuration around the limb. Each fin component comprises a base adapted to fit against a user's limb and adapted to be secured to the user's limb by the fastening member, and at least two longitudinal fins and at least one lateral fin on an outer side of the base.

Liquid buoyance muscle training device
10363448 · 2019-07-30 ·

A liquid buoyancy muscle training device includes a liquid receiving tank receiving and holding liquid therein. A buoyantly submergible member is buoyantly submergible in the liquid contained in the liquid receiving tank and includes a regulation chamber formed therein. A bottom pulley is mounted inside the liquid receiving tank. A rope is connected to the buoyantly submergible member and wrapped around the bottom pulley and extends upward to project outside the liquid receiving tank. A liquid regulation tank is connected through a liquid supply tube to the regulation chamber to allow liquid to flow therebetween. A gas supplier is connected through a gas supply tube to the regulation chamber to selectively supply gas into the regulation chamber to change a ratio between liquid and gas inside the regulation chamber so as to change buoyance applied to the buoyantly submergible member by the liquid contained in the liquid receiving tank.
